Useless comedy that shared the 'typical' ITV problem of excessively bright studio lighting-have you noticed that all ITV sitcoms used to have that same flourescant wash? Not only were BBC comedies generally much funnier-they had better studio production too.

Oh, and ITV normally simply poached anyone who had made a name for themselves, usually on BBC.

Yes, the 2nd series was fairly ropey. The first was competent enough and had a nice feel-good factor - which was probably why it got re-comissioned.
