Fantastic phone! I got mine at a discount on Ebay (luck of the draw!) and I got it unlocked today. I just wish that ALL of the features worked here in the states! Ah well, it does what I need it to do, and it does them well. And to those wondering, the only languages it supports are Japanese (obviously) and English.

Ntt Docomo is awesome, I saw the new 2010 Summer collection, but the only problem guys, that those phones are only for Japan, you can unlock them, but you can say Good bye from Wi-Fi, and GPS(if I know right), and I forget to mention the digital TV. :( I really hope, that one day Ntt Docomo will "attack" Europe too. :)

@xastrickxplusx i don't know about that aren't these feature phones. The iphone seems very popular in japan I think it's one of the top selling smart phones there. I think the reality of the situation is that most us carriers don't have the capabilities to provide the services this phone does in a country as large as the US.

they're locked, you can't use them out of Japan, only for Docomo network.

F-01B has a bit of a better digital cam...but it doesnt have this kind of nice illumination. I have the F-01B.

The f-01b has handwriting input and the sh-01b's camera has better specs but not sure if it's better than the f-01b in real world use. Both are very similar, you won't miss out much through choosing on over the other.
