When I turn my horse out (she looks exactly like Ginger) she'll follow me everywhere I go, no halter or anything...she just wants to follow me. It's so wonderful...I run races with her (she always wins!), anything...it just always reminds me of this scene in the movie.

I love this story, I cry when I watch the movie, I've started looking at this again because I do animal care in college, and had to write a report on the history of animal rights Anna Sewell was one of the first people to show how important it is to protect animals and what better way to that than publish a story about life through a working animal's eyes -

@iluvfreddykruger I love that line....it, oddly enough, has shown up in my dreams several times...I will miss Shy, my Ginger...who actually looks more like Merrylegs than Ginger. But I love that line! I just wish (my turn to quote now!) that "someday, somehow, I can be with her again."
