  • awesome tutorial, thans!

  • This is really hard to do with objects in a skyline as blue sky has so many different shades

  • can i send u a pic to do?

  • Great video... :)

  • You are a life saver!!!! I needed to take a red ribbon from around a tree and I struggled for an hour trying to figure it out on my own. A couple of minutes with your video and I was successful. Thank you so much.

  • hi will anyone that is good at removing people in the background please do this on two photos for me?? thanks

  • ah........

  • I'm a noob with Photoshop. I tried but it my Photoshop keeps saying "Could not use the clone stamp because the area to clone has not been defined... grrr...

  • @thereconscout Before using the clone stamp the area to clone has to be defined (Alt-click to define a source point).Hope it'll help you

  • @Stelena727 The area to clone has to be defined by using the clone stamp and by clicking "Alt " on your keyboard. I'm sorry for what I whote in my first comment and I really hope it helps you :)

  • @Stelena727 wrote sorry again :)

  • DavidPetersLPN, I click on stamp tool and will NOT work, please help !

  • How i do it on after efects cs5?

  • thanx man :)

thats he magic of youtube !! n the magic of photoshop i guess (",)

  • I recommend for selections use pen tool :)

  • Thank you! When you first started taking the people out of the photo by using the stamp tool, did you have to click anything or did you just start holding down the mouse and moving it around?-thanks again!

  • finally i feel like i can use the photoshop too.thanks for the lessons

  • COOL...i wanna try that now....thanks bro...galing naman

  • Yay! Thank you!. :)

  • i want the girl in front wow

  • .. '' But the one tool you'll be using the whole time is the Stone Stamp tool '' ???!!! LOOOOL but it's great thaaank you

  • Thanks a lot, this has given me a lot bigger picture on how to do things.

  • haha this is pretty funny

  • very good,thanks!

  • eh i am trying to remove un object... but when i use the clone stamp nothing happens... it doesnt clone anything

  • @arontao See if you got 100 % opacity and flow. And also, set the mode to normal.

And of course, make sure that you clone from the right layer. It won't do anything if you're cloning from empty spaces.

If either of these works, I don't know.

  • Thanks a million

  • when i do that, theres like another picture behind it.

Like when i start erasing, theres like the same copy behind it except its slightly to the left.

    Why does that happen???

  • thanks! very usefull!

  • sexy tut.

  • nice!

  • LMAO..i Used clone stamp. But it wont remove a person in the pic

  • Great tutorial.. very detailed and easy to follow.

  • what photoshop do you use? pm me back ^^.

  • Thank so much, now i know what the stamp thing does LoL thx again

  • i can't see to use it, cause i can't find the define source....do u know why?

  • @1changgirl you need to hold alt key and click in the picture to select the cloning source :)

  • @jansmit1960 - but i did...its like i dunno what to do, I press alt key and click the picture and it still pops up unless I'm doing it wrong?

  • @1changgirl then it's possible the type of image isn't possible to clone without rasterizing it first, you do so by right clicking on the picture layer and click on rasterize layer.

  • @jansmit1960 - i clicked the rasterize layer but it still doesn't work..

  • @1changgirl have you selected 'all layers' as the sample from the clone tool?

  • @jansmit1960 - i tried that too, -sigh- i feel like i'm bothering you lol

  • @1changgirl Use CS5

  • useless

  • Ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i cant find what u are using. its really diferent...

  • thanks alot i opened my Adobe Cs5 and did it with your video @ the same time thanks alot

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn

  • I cantt findd what your using... my photoshop looks TOTALLY different. lol

  • OMG that's awesome I can't wait to try it, thank you so much.

  • u no when your quick masking and getting rid of the red stuff how do u do that?

because when i click and use it it paints red but what button do u press to remove red?

  • thanks

  • A step by step approach like this one is very useful..Nice video.

  • umm....stupid question? how do i us the clone stamp tool?

  • just like a normal stamp, you first press it on ink (i.e the area you want to cover the object with) by pressing alt and clicking on that area. then you simply click on want to hide. :)

  • mine says you have have to define it first before you use the clone stamp how do your do that?

  • hold alt and then click on the thing you want to clone

  • Esa herramienta.... nunca la e usado

    ns tuto 5/5

  • Wow.

  • Why does everyone that makes photoshop tutorials lip smack!!!!?????

  • WHY did he NOT show the QUICK KEYS? because... clicking them would teach U nothing- U don't even KNOW the steps to GET HERE ? so how the $k are U gona use them? (Oh & Maori's CAN WRITE - NZ ENGLISH - jusy not Maori ((as I am sure the same "daft" SOMEONE's will try to SAY - I meant couldn't write at all))

  • Hey ?>? U guys try making a tutorial video - on a subject U LIKE & ENJOY... and see HOW DAM HARD it actually "is" when trying to simplify these? YES he went way too fast & assumed too much (U WOULD TOO) ... as it is a basic human trait- that IF WE know something - we assume everyone knows & just want an "overview' of functionality... not FINE ORINT DETAIL.

  • WOULD that double "layer" thing allow me to "cut & paste" some entirely DIFFERENT red brick wall - from another picture? and "meld these two together?

  • I realy don't want to GO and do any more (i have done about HALF???hahaha I wonder WHY?) - but this gives me a few more ideas?

  • A-L-L-ryt... this is near exactly WHAT has taken me nearly three years of click a pixel & check click again& ?oops.. has taken (my only problem is this? I am trying to "RE_BUILD" the hidden red, brick "mural" wall - that was HIDDEN by the other people - in a wedding photo?

THUS NEVER HAD THAT WALL to random "click" in?

  • I have a wedding pic of me and my wife...how ever a friend ruined it....as he was in the middle....

i don't have photoshop but i have a cheap HP printer/scanner....but the resolution isn't that great....so photo wouldn't be that clear...

Is there a place that you can recommend that i can take this to be fixed and remove the friend?

I don't have the $ to spend on Photoshop...

  • Comment removed

  • u have no idea about ps

  • because hes copying water to another place of water

  • nice, but can you teach me to remove someone from a class photo, hes sitting in the front role and on the side

  • Yes, can you tell the quick keys please!? T__T

  • moved way too fast and assumed that viewers knew quick keys and basic terms

  • I am absolutely "certain" - that these same people here (who ask some realy dumb questions) -would attack (say) an 8 minute intro OF ??? HOW TO LEARN MAORI - would say OH they didn't learn as YOU didn't show the links to click? People - even "photo_hide" programs TAKE WEEKS TO LEARN- (& so a few clicks teach nothing) NOW - just try Maori-? (when) most NZ Maori's LIVING - can't even SPEAK MAORI - let alone write? & no 8 minute "intro" would TEACH THEM - as U expect this?- to teach U photo-cut?

  • hey,thnx.

  • nice one.. but how about if we have diff. details on the back ground??

  • hi thx for u r vid it;s nice..

can u please make one video with colorfull..

  • hey there could someone tell me where i can download this software

  • cs4 search in google and torrent u will get it

  • the uniformity of the randomness...ummmmm ???

  • is that your girls freind?

  • i want to remove writing that is on top of a logo which is on top of a background with a bunch of polka dots (that are not randomly distributed but in a pattern) how would i go about doing that???

  • So Nice Man! Really wanna learn this an day.. (I'm newbeginner on photoshop)
