  • Impassioned speaking is what has gotten your attention, however you refuse to listen. Again use your platform to offer solutions and not devisive right-winged hate.

  • Impassioned speaking wasn't what got my attention. It was the huge amounts of financier money going to an unknown candidate from the very beginning. That money, the media connections, and the political pull created the Obama "phenomenon." The "grass roots" perception came later. He wouldn't even have gotten close to the presidency without those three. But, it's really day one, so far he has a good score getting rid of Guantanamo prison.

  • I just wanted to revisit this post again. What do you think of Obama now? He bailed out Wall St. just like Bush did. He's sending more troops to Afganistan, Haliburton will make more money there. He can't come up with a decent health care plan. And, he's about to sign a treaty in Copenhagen that will give away our sovereignty to a supranational government. I don't know about you, but it's not a good score card.

  • You are well more informed than I am. I thought his grass roots internet campaign contribution program helped put him in the presidency. I also thought it was the vote of the people. Perhaps you are suggesting that the contributions he received from Wall Street and City of London helped by the votes he got. How in your opinion is he going to serve Wall Street?

  • He would serve Wall St. (and, I hope he doesn't) by continued bail outs of speculative financial institutions, privatizing infrastructure, doing away with certain govenmental regulations. A good marker of what to do is what Franklin Roosevelt with the economy and putting on trial people like J.P. Morgan, the head of Goldman Sachs and others, then created regulations to curtail their speculative, monopolizing activity. Good historical reading: "Wall St. Under Oath" by Ferdinand Pecora.

  • Obama received 51% of the popular vote. It appears we have a great deal of people that are possessed. Your video is full of speculation and generalizations. As well it leans to the side of polarization. Use your skills and knowledge to effect positive change for all people.

  • Well, I have been working to effect positive change, to open a dialog with the Obama presidency. The fact (not speculation) remains that Obama was put into the presidency by Wall St. and City of London finance, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. He owes Wall St.! So, will he serve them, or will he serve the people? People feel good about Obama now, but actions speak louder than impassioned speeches. With all that, I hope for positive change.

  • Guess what......OBAMA is your next President and the people have spoken....

  • Yes, how about that? I wouldn't quite say that the people have spoken. His campaign was still paid for and promoted by Wall St. The main objective of people like George Soros, one of he worlds biggest speculators, was accomplished: to knock Hillary out of the primaries. So, the question is: will Obama serve Wall St., or will he serve Main St.? Actions speak louder than words. Interestingly enough, he brought some Clinton people into his cabinet and Wall St. is not happy about that.

  • So president McCain is going to nominate Howard Dean to a political post? Come on man. The liberals who control the democractic party love Obama because he holds their views. All Obamas friends, Wright, Ayers, and the like have the same views as they do.

  • This is the first that I have heard this. I have been hearing it the opposite way. Like people in Texas and Ohio was voting for her in the primaries because they feel like she will lose the general against McCain. They plan to vote for McCain in the general. Have you heard this?

  • I haven't heard that. Look at the elections with the collapsing economy in mind. The Wall St/corporate/banking/hedge funds elite want a total takeover of the U.S. economy, as well as a total bailout from the taxpayers. At least for now, Hillary represents a possible block to that scenario. She is a potential "Kennedy" option (he took on Wall St and the steel trusts- see the book "Battling Wall St). So, the big money would rather not have Hillary as an option in the general election.

  • Hey, this was a very honest video. I agree with you 100%. I think a person like Obama is vulnerable because not much is known about him and it can be easy for the Republicans to fill in the blanks. And yes, the powers that may be are heavily influencing this.

  • I recently found out that Newt Gingrich was also involved in writing the articles in the London papers. So, its pretty bad when our politicians are plotting the outcome of the U.S. elections from another country. I was in politics, and believe me, if Obama were for real change (for the better), the news media would treat him differently. Let's see how they treat him in November. Remember the Ross Perot phenomenon, how it syphoned off a lot of discontented voters, then petered out to nothing.

  • No.1 - You're in Pennsylvania

No.2 - Your Govenor has already warned the country about you.

No.3 - You clearly have not done much by way of research into Obama's past. Resko?

No.4 - Surely you are not suggesting we support Hillary

No.5 - See "youtube-dot-com/watch?v=xq8aopATYyw dont forget to see part 2

No. 6 - McCain is not even eligible to be president. Check it out yourself.

The dirty tricks of politics, thanks for showing how it's done. Who paid you?!?!

  • oh...btw until I saw that video, I supported Hillary. Go figure! People like you are driving us to support Obama!

  • Well im from chicago and chicago papers have been covering him sense he came on the seen. Obama has always been a political star, because hes not just a talker. Thats why he won Illinios by wider margins then clinton won new york. The Rezko thing is not undercover, we've known about it for years. Theres no evidence that Obama did anything illegal, its our governor they're trying to tie to rezko not obama. Maybe you should do better research next time, you dont have to read foriegn papers.

  • contin. Like Obama before. We have been use to the same old corrupt politicians for many, many years. Obama is fresh and different which is probably one of the main reasons why people are so passionate about him. Also, between Obama and Hillary, Hillary is more socialistic if you ask me. She talks about WAY too much government control, that may not necessarily go well with many republicians or independant that may be looking at democratic candiates.

  • Man, You are so cynical! No wonder, you were a lobbyist, that explains everything for me.

Get a life, stand for something good!

  • FALSE! If Hillary is the nominee, SHE WILL LOSE. Check out the recent polls. Also, the only reason why we knew Hillary before this election is because she husband was a president! About Obama and Rekso, they already investigated Obama and proved that he did nothing illegal with Rekso. BTW, the news always report information about Resko case, I know because every day I see something new about the case. Lastly, Obama's supporters are very dedicated because they have never had a political figure.

  • Your right on target!!!
