  • Hey buddies if ur in windows you might get confused of changing the file format go to folder option in windows and uncheck the "hide extension for known file type"

    I faced this problem

  • i have successfully added the ringtone, but I dunno why i cannot sync the ringtone into my iphone. It shows "0 ringtone"!

  • @fattiemandi Your ringtone is either too long (more than 30 seconds) or you did not sync ringtones from iTunes to iPhone by ticking the box for ringtone syncing

  • cool. nv knew itunes cld do this. im assuming with this video i can use customized ringtones and sms tones with the iphone 2g? or do i haf to install an app? cuz some of my friends say the iphone 2g cant use customized ringtones/sms tones...

  • It was great until you forget that most peeps computers hides the extenions for known file types!! If ya don't know, ur screwed!

  • Go to View -> Folder Properties -> Show file extensions

    Then you will either see m4a or m4r

  • i have windows and i it doesn't says  1m4a or m4r

  • right click and click on properties

  • what do you have to change in the folder options?

  • Either go to folder options and select Show Extensions or you can just right click and click properties. You can see the file extension there. Choose M4A and change that to M4R

  • Never Mind I Got It I Had To Go Into My Control Pannel Then Folder Options And Stuff
