  • this is just as terrible as the NES version

  • @nintendosegafan912 If you want to use it for any purpose, you can. I'm always glad to help and provide stuff.

  • BBBBLLLLLAAUUGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that song i hear at 0:23 is from old classic music but i dont know how it's called im looking for that number long time

  • @musicfanatic6790 Yeah, it's Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

  • @DarkEvil87

    Thanks

  • i loved this game when i was a kid. i recently ordered it off ebay and cant wait for it to get here

  • i thing i always wondered who supposed to be the third henchmen (the cliche chicago gangster) becausein the movie theyre only leo and marvin

  • please, what the name ofthe music between 00:12 and 00:50 ???

    thank you!

  • @RODRIGOR300 I think that would be Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

  • where the hell were these other characters in the movie?? i had this game ! thanks for posting lmfao

  • Too bad this one doesn't take much advantage of the SNES graphics/music capabilities. The Game Boy version was pretty rockin' by comparison.

  • @Nintendough Well, you know how it was with the SNES. There was a long list of well known quality titles, now classics, with incredible music and graphics you couldn't see anywhere else. Then there were a ton of relatively unknown third party titles produced with what seems to be little knowledge of the console's advantages on the developer's end or maybe just made to quickly to be done right.

  • I can't believe I played this game as a kid. Too bad I sucked at it and because of the numerous Game Overs I received from this game, I hated it. I was only 6 when I played this game, and I didn't know the bloody controls nor the object of the game. Thank god Super Mario World was there to cheer me up.

  • I thought the music for the first round was pretty rockin', actually.

  • @TheDevilbuster To say the truth, I don't think it's awful, just average for me.

  • rofl why does he have a gun??

  • Don't know, but it's only a water gun, so there's no risk of him harming anybody. That's gotta be one of the worst weapon in the history of games.

  • if u jump and press up into the bathroom mirror u get a green potion which makes u invincible 4 a short time!

  • let me tell ya another slice of americana i got this game for christmas i was a kid so didnt know what to do and if your wondering alot of these games you show on here like this i played when i was a kid about 5 or 6 i think back in the snes gens days or 1993 or 4 and i didnt know his freakin family had a safe in the basement

  • omg the part where you walked on the piano reminded me of mjs moonwalker....... -Skittles

  • my brother and our friend and i used t play this game alot.. though the basement music was creepy as hell.

  • It's true, almost like they went for a horror game in those sections.

  • i remember the game over scared the crap outta me. i never ever touched it again. at least i got over it

  • he stepped on micro machines!!! hahahaha

  • I watched the film Home Alone, but I did't heard that Nintendo Company created the game Home Alone

  • There were also Home Alone games for Sega consoles and even Amiga, DOS.

  • and NES

  • Yeah, I have a walkthrough of that one too.

  • hahahahaha VCRs.... worth how much now? Ah, sweet technology. Even DVD players arent worth a whole lot anymore.

  • Lol yeah, it's true. To think that game is actually 18 years old, an era where HDTVs didn't even exist, it's like I haven't seen time pass by.

  • Genesis version is one of my FAVORITE GAMES EVER!!!!

  • This game's actually pretty good. I liked the music in the NES version better though, and its a shame because the VGM composer legend, George "The Fat Man" Sanger did the soundtrack to the NES version and the NES version kind of sucks. It's not a shitty game but its just EXTREMELY hard.

  • Dude, get rid of the commentary in the video. It's annoying.

  • You simply have to click on the arrow in the bottom left corner of the player. That way, all annotations won't appear in YouTube videos.

  • I meant bottom right corner.

  • at 5:09 u get rabies

  • Yeah, explaining the screaming at 5:29.

  • Genesis version is better

  • It is also an entirely different game, a little bit closer to the NES version (survive for 20 minutes).

  • i like this game

  • 2:19

  • 4:28 - He steps on Micro Machines and Hot Wheels cars like in the movie. Can't remember if it was Harry or Marv that stepped on them, though.

  • I couldn't figure out what those were, but I should've guessed. I think it was Marv in the movie too, but I might be wrong.

  • this was one of the worst rentals I can remember lol, but good to think back

  • It was originally a not so good rental for me too, but I was a kid, so it was still better than today. The funny story is that when the time came to bring it back to the rental store, they didn't want it, honestly! It was because there was originally a sticker on the cartridge, but it came loose, so they didn't recognize it as their own. I still have that same cartridge after all these years...

  • ...I know what you mean, DarkEvil87-My first experience with the game was as a rental, as well, but I don't think it's that bad of a game, especially considering the NES version, it's sequel game(s), and the majority of Movie-Based Games in general.

Sure, there are some really silly and 'WTF' moments in the game (The aforementioned 'Extra Thugs' in the house, all the Rats, Bats, and Ghosts, Money in the Toilet, Pizza in Packing Boxes, etc.), but it's a game, and not to be taken so seriously.

  • NES game is a lot worse, a lot of movie-based games are also worse. I probably don't like it that much because it's really repetitive, but at least the controls are not broken. It's playable.

  • I agree with you about it being repetitive (Especially when you get to Stage 3/'The Third Wing'), as well as about the Controls.

The game is surprisingly playable (And kind of fun-Not something you'd want to play over and over again, but it's still fun to an extent), which is not only surprising, but probably one of the game's only redeeming factors.

As a matter of fact, I was just playing this game yesterday, and decided to do a Youtube Search for it to see what I'd find, and here I am. lol

  • @DarkEvil87 Well, of course. Any real Gamer knows how much the majority of movie-based games suck.

But yeah, like I said before, I agree about the game being playable (And fun)...

  • @DarkEvil87

lol! Lucky you, if that sticker came off at my home town rental place they'd try to charge you for a new cartridge. Also, a sad thing for me...they had like 20 games to rent...so I rented this game more than once...>.<

  • @Nitewaker I didn't have permission to rent there anymore though, of course, since their system showed them I never returned the game, no matter how much I tried. Place closed a month or two later, I got a free game out of it without feeling bad (I did not steal it after all), I think I won.

  • BUGGER i was hoping that this was a complete walkthrough but i can see only part 1 :( shame cause i want 2 add this game 2 my Playlist of Classic Games :(

  • I can upload videos of the whole game if you want. It shouldn't take too long.

  • Sweet that would be awesome. Cause played it myself i know there is only 4 levels. Possibbly the EASIEST game 4 the SNES. I look forward 2 it :)

  • u think u can upload the entire soundtrack on here??

  • There are not a lot of tracks to speak of in this game, but anyway I don't have the soundtrack itself in a good format. The only help I can give you right now is the SNESmusic website which must have it and all it takes is an SPC player or a plugin for Winamp.

  • I like it how they put the money in the toilet and a pizza in the bath. It made me laugh. Also, the sound effects of collecting powerups sounds like it's from Konami's Contra and Super C on the NES where you collect the powerups. If you played it and hear it, you'll find it very similar.

  • I agree that there are some similarities. In fact, it might really be the same sound, but rendered the way the SNES sounds.

  • i remember my twin cousins played it when i was for a visit...the gameover screen freaked me out...got nightmares...:(

  • daaaaamn! this brings me back...

  • u r a pro at this game.

  • Thanks, but it's really not that hard a game and I played it as a kid so I have some experience from that time.
