I have heard that differrent countries have different power outputs, but then I found out it's only a slight difference to each country.

I've got 08 R1 with yoshimura trc 3/4 slip ons, but I've ordered Akrapovic full race system from the USA for only $1590.00 + $30.00 to ship it here to Australia. Already got Power Commander III USB, K&N Air-Filter, plus a shit load of nuts & bolts from pro-bolt(dot)com.

Had my calipers polished and fitted Galfer wave discs, along with Galfer braided lines..... Fuck Michelin and Dunlop... get Pirelli's or Avon tyres.

Yeh..the IGOR Akrapovic exhaust is really number one on the motorcycle market..

My good friend have (R1) HEX Titan.Full Exhaust System + PC III..

Guess ,,heheh..on my bike is also Arkapovic exhaust

In 2008 I visited the factory and saw the production..

@rimon111wills Yea, that looks like about an inch and a quarter of fresh rubber!!! Hes more interested in making videos of how good it sounds then riding it like its supposed to be ridden!!!

Is this the r1 evolution set up? Can you get just that slip on and add the rest of pipes later?

@djqx You can do that with pretty much any exhaust!! I would suggest buying the slipon and then having someone build you the rest leaving the headers stock if its a bike thats been made in the last 5 years and cutting out the baffles and putting them back in!! There is no need on any sport bike to replace the headers, they flow as good as anything you can buy aftermarket and the baffles are needed for back pressure!! People say you dont need them but trust me you want them there!!!

The Sato and Arata are better quality and sound better and are louder. The dyno charts for Sato exhausts prove it.

Does the full race system comes with a dB-killer? The Acra-site doesn't mention it on first sight. It's important for my track days due to db-limits. Great sound, looks good ! :-)

@fluffybunny5359 Have a custom one built!! Leave the baffles in and you will still be quiet enough and you'll get the power out if it!! Dont need to change your headers either, they will flow as good as anything aftermarket unless your spending 2-3 grand on headers alone!!!

I have an 07 R1 with Akrapovic slip ons and let me tell you something, on the track you feel and hear the pips screem deeply on to strait as they are the best finished pipes on the market... Quality pipes.
