  • wooo i helped make this with my friends and that cool dude from machinima!!!

  • Climate Change is bullshit, but I do think we are fucking up the world with polution and deforestation. Climate Change isn't causing floods, its the fact that their are no trees to suck up the water that would naturally be there.

  • @17thSHIT You got your shit backwards then. Climate change is real, just not the notion that humanity it responsible for it, and spending extra money on "Green products and energy" isn't going to do a damn thing about it.

  • @stuffedfun How? Global Climate Change is a natural phenomenon. Not 'Global warming' or 'climate change'. Global Climate Change isn't what they are telling us, so they can bullshit to us. I mean, the polar bears survived the last Earth Heating, why won't they now, and they are more likely to survive because humans will be there to help them.

  • @17thSHIT

no hahaha the trees soking up all the water.. its the polar ice caps that are melting causing floods.. this is because of global warming

  • @182cammy Do you understand how global warming works? In fact there has been a decrease in polar icecaps melting. What I am talking about is when it rains, we cut down the forests and build houses then wonder why he have so many floods then we blame it on global warming altering the weather, but it has nothing to do with it.

  • aha my friends made this:').

  • my best friend helped and made thiseo vid

  • wow - it lacks...uhm ...whats that word - oh YEAH Sustenance.....

  • never mind game over!

  • Lies Lies Lies! and you call yourself christians. You should be ashamed.

  • No we don't. "Commissioned by Christian Aid". Personally I (the director) am an atheist, just happy to work with Christian Aid on important causes.

  • Oh sorry my mistake please accept my apology but MMGW is a cruel hoax perpetrated by the UN who 's agenda is steeped in the philosophies of Alice Bailey and the Lucis Trust who if you research you'll find worship a very different God to the christians. It's pagan idolotary and their God is Lucifer himself.

  • This is hardly the place for a religious conversation or religious views. Plus, Lucifer and Paganism has nothing to do with each other.

I would recommend researching your facts before you make a statement.

  • ditto to euphorian filmers. this was a bit of a mess of themes, the design seems very haphazardly chosen. I would also go so far as to say that that appears to be the most un-fun videogame ever made. whee! fly by trees

    fly by valleys!

  • I agree with some previously stated points. Although the lack of aesthetics and some mistakes could be the result of child thought, in which case would be tolerable. It's a great idea to involve kids in this kind of project. Good Job.

  • Good idea, good concept, but the execution leaves something to be desired.

  • Interesting - can you comment further?

  • The whole visual aspect of it is very dull, to put it bluntly. I'm not sure what engine you guys used, but it hasn't really worked.

The intro simply doesn't engage you, as the visuals are very basic, and the robot voice cements that and is enough to make you close the window. The introduction to any video needs to be engaging, but this simply wasn't.

Up to around 0:26, the film simply doesn't make sense. -continued-

  • -continued- The ecstatic chants from the children contradicted the sad and shocking pictures of the effects of climate change, so the meaning of that particular sequence was lost.

When the teens pick up the game controller from the dad and play the "game", the visuals aren't appealing, the signs (campaigning, alternative energy etc) going across the screen seemed unprofessional and slightly cheesy.

My final issue is the voice acting, particularly towards the end. -continued-

  • -continued- When the teens were playing the "game", they seemed unmotivated and unconvinced, which left me feeling unmotivated and unconvinced. The "time to take control" was not said well, it should have been said with enthusiasm and joy, but it wasn't.

However, I thought the overall idea is quite clever. I think that by turning the world into a game-like entity, it inspires motivation in the future generation. -continued-

  • -continued- It ridicules the adults' inability to control simple elements of the environment and belays the fact that the newer generation can, and will with more ease.

The thing is though, with a message such as this, it needs to be made a bit more obvious. That's easier said than done, when I showed it to my 10 year-old brother he didn't get it at first.

To increase the overall impact, you have to make a more obvious video, or include some sort of message at the end. -continued-

  • -cont.- I'd be happy to pitch ideas forth if you choose to remake this video (I highly recommend it), as I feel it's important that the younger members of society are very much aware of climate change and its effects, and how important it is to realise that it's them that'll be making the biggest impact in a few years.

    Thanks for reading.
