I just read your comments. Maybe you didn't realize, but Content ID kicks in after x number of seconds. It can vary depending on the guest; ie., in same show in 2000 Content ID blocked interview with Alyssa Milano but not a singing performance by singer Robert Palmer.
yeah old people humor for sure, it reminds me of my parents, they just talk too loud and try to one or two ridiculous things. the next generation of people is much more low key, absurdistly zany, awkward, subtle, intelligent ;) you could see how much calmer and less sweaty kief was in his tan jacket. those are my opinions, thank you.
not ALL actors/celebrities do this though. But its true that the interviews are scripted.
local Radio interviews are better than TV interviews since they are NOT scripted ever. like when a celeb calls into your local morning show. Sometimes they are told what NOT to ask but they are never scripted.
This is usually the case with a lot of celebrity interviews. They have canned answers to most questions, and basically repeat the same stories and jokes in all interviews. Look at the Borat interviews for TV, they are all the same jokes. So this is nothing new at all.
I think Neo-Squireel is right. It's true! Actors do so many interviews and are always asked the same questions that they basically have a prepared repertoire of answers
I saw an interview with ben stiller and luke wilson saying that they actually get bored getting asked the same questions and giving the same answers/jokes all the time.
In fairness, all stars ultimately have a "speech" when it comes to self-describing their latest production-- they talk to so many press outlets. It's up to the interviewer to take a different angle to draw different answers out.
I know-- I've been one asking the questions.
I've seen so many interviews from the same person at the same location asking the same stupid questions that it's a wonder the subject doesn't start punching their lights out for being unoriginal. ^^
Yeah, I like Kiefer but I'm not a fan of his Leno/Conan appearances since it's the same darn thing.
I wish he would do a Saturday Night Live skit of McGruber as his famous character. I know he was on there in 1990 but he needs to do more comedy or at least do something outstanding after the 24 movie
All of these interviews are scripted, they don't just bombard the guests with random questions, there is a script for every guest on every show, do some research
Alot of the celebrities give scripted interviews. Especially when they are talking about a show/movie. So they basically repeat the same thing over and over on every show they go to. That's why many times when I'm watching Conan i'm like, "didnt i see that exact interview on Leno already" (and vice versa). I guess the producers are very strict about them giving away spoilers so they give them specific thigns to talk about. ...shit, that's what happens man.
and everyone on the planet has asked him the same question a million times. so i guess he just scripts all his interviews. he knows what they are gonna ask. occassionally he would come up with a new side story too. liek the one about he action figure he burnt to death. lmao!
I don't think this was scripted. He gets asked this all the time. He obviously can't say much, so he says the same thing everytime. I don't think it's scripted at all.
It's like he says, "I've gotten into so much trouble", they probably just wrote him some text, 'memorize this and say it when you're asked about the new season'.
How many times do you think he was asked this question? Not including random people, it's gotta be a couple dozen. Of course he's gonna say the same thing. He probably has a clause in his contract about what he's allowed to reveal anyway, which is pretty much nothing.
I couldn't stand that dumb friggin' show, "24"!

Or its because he has answered the same question 5 gazillion times that the answers are identical.
Funny though =)
