Wow. Very impressed by the lyrics, original voice. I'm not gona even comment on the band because of course everythings already been said about this legit fucking song.
All of you shut the fuck up, nothing is generic about this other than they use a guitar drums and bass like every other band but thats about the only thing thats generic you fucking pieces of shit.
This shit fucking KILLS. All the kids who think this is "generic" need to get their dad's dicks out of their ears, Structures is still as fucking crazy and brutal as ever.
Album was a huge disappointment. They released this song and an album teaser containing the good bits from Divided By, not the clean singing interludes that throw almost every song off....... Thanks Sumerian.
@Marasma101 The record labels dont make them change their sound. It's the band, im sick of people blaming the labels. It's just the bands changing their style and trying something new
@UnderaGodlessSky7861 yea!!!! they were fuckin epic. still are. i was just listening to them, rebirth, burial, boats n hoes, bitty n the chief, i miss those days!
@surkadurk to be honest, the whole structure thing is nothing new. people have realized that songs have fallen into patterns and so try to change their own. old news. to be honest i'm not sure why they put the slash through the name, i just wanted to point out that the "unstructured" (yes, even if it does not appear to be structured, it has to be, or else it doesn't make sense) thing is not new. but struc/tures themselves are making music that i like to listen to, so i have nothing against them.
@surkadurk I think more people are upset about how they're unoriginal. Yes, they're more progressive in song structure than they used to be. But nothing is unique about them.
Yeah the new music is horrible. The singing is completely terrible. I thought this band had good potential in fitting in with the djent scene. (Volumes, Elitist etc...)
Sadly, the only good parts of this album are the breakdowns. Everything else is mediocre.
There is a thing called melody that bands like this seem to forget exists. For a band called Structures, they have no natural melodic structure. This band, like most progressive "djent" core bands, would be absolutely god-awful live.
@bs1kally haha yeah I was thinking that. I actually enjoy this band, but their name is kind of ironic. Specially because their songs are spastic as hell with minimal theme
the music business is not a contest, the music business is just about doing what you love and expressing yourself through the music you play, and making others feel the same emotions you feel about music....if you think it is a contest, you seriously have the wrong idea about music/ the music business
new stuff is TERRIBLE. the EP blew me away but this, this is just.... I can certainly do with not having it in my iTunes and never hearing it again :/
That part at 1:14 sounds like garbage to me >_< I hate those Emmure sounding spoken vocals. C'mon Structures, I loved the EP but this new material seems sub par in my opinion. There are some good parts but I don't enjoy in nearly as much as what I heard on that EP.
I don't think they'll ever be able to top their EP. The songs on there just really caught my attention and I could listen to the songs over and over again. The new stuff isn't bad, it just doesn't have the same feel in my opinion.
I'm a metal head...and even I know this is really good music. I used to be into core music but not so much anymore. There are a small full of bands i still like in the genre. And this is definitely one of em. I really wanna see em play in my city again!
The musicians of structures are all very talented but for some reason alot of their music doesnt have much soul or atmosphere, like it doesnt move me emotionally .Anyone else get that felling like the music sounds sick but thats about it?Either way this song is badass
@bmth4111 haha that's the exact feeling i have! when you compare them to Volumes, i feel like volumes has that passionate feel that this band is missing.
@bmth4111 I feel the same way man. I felt like the EP moved me to a certain extent, but in a different way that a lot of music does. And now that the album songs are coming out...I don't know...I'm just like..."well it's technically impressive and it has good vocals, and keeps my attention", but that's the extent of it.
I love how people freak out about deathcore bands being mostly young kids. That's because deathcore is the easiest shit to play on the planet. Breakdowns? Chugging? Never playing past the fourth fret? HELLO???
@aarongtr180 Left hand fret technique is pretty easy compared to anything intricate done with the right hand. Learn the instrument, then you can talk.
@blatantcan The "gtr" in my name signifies that I play guitar. And the "intricate technique" used to play most deathcore guitar parts with the right hand would be incredibly easy for any intermediate guitarist.
@blatantcan you're a dumbass, its not about left hand or right hand, its about synchronizing them together. and even after that left hand techniques are still worlds harder then "anything intricate done with the right hand". things such as proper muting technique and finger independence take years to develop with the fretting hand
left hand is way harder, your intricate right hand breakdowns and shit are nothing compared to shredding like jeff loomis in terms of difficulty

What the fuck is up everybody? We are A Riot In Moscow a new Progressive Death Metal band from South Florida and even though you guys have never heard of us we want to let everyone know that we are currently recording our debut EP "Royalty" and we would really appreciate if you guys would check it out and give us some feedback. We have one track from our previous deathcore project on our page if anyone is interested in checking that out. We are for fans of The Faceless & Veil Of Maya.
Wow dood they were amazing on the first album they put out but holy shit this is shear fucking brilliance. Thank you canada so much. Ps second on the album art being a hoodie.

@TaylorMickeyG Lol at you calling someone a troll in a troll comment... at least I think you were trolling haha, cause I'm sure you don't judge a bands talent by how "big" they are... I'm sure...

@Poisontheavenged Asking Alexandria is god awful, and most people will agree no matter what genre they listen to... That is unless they're scene kids.

this is okay but im having a hard time understanding why i see so meny people loosing there shit over this (undeserved prase), its good but i heard heavyer/ way more brilliance, its just another hardcore band that sounds just like ever other band out there, im so sick of hearing new bands that arent new, but realy fucking old with twists. booooooooo get off the stage

I'm not digging the new sound. I was hoping for a more "All of the Above" sound. Still good, but pretty boring..
