not at all. israel is abusing power just because a p.m. election in israel is coming up. that's not to say that hamas is no less guilty. they are both equally guilty.they both engage in propaganda wars, in addition to extreme violence. it has to stop soon because there will be no winners.

as a jew i believe that israel has every right to exist. but, i think that there has to be a new pragmatic solution to the m.e. that accepts the fact that israel must be held up to the same magnifying glass that other m.e. countries are. and to even be allowed to criticize israel without the stupid cliche of anti-semitism banted about.

I respect your point of view. However, you should look into the history of the Israel / Palestine conflict. The problem is that Israel is expected to be absolutely perfect while the other M.E. countries can get away with anything.

For example, the PLO was responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Arab "infidels" in Lebanon. However, they don't get criticized for it. Israel kills 600 Hamas terrorists and they are getting censured by the UN. Outrageous.
