You have something that take a million watts for 5 days to make. Once it is made, you can get 1 watt out of it for 400 years before it goes dead. Is it a good deal?

The bottom line is that even if they are creating energy out of magnets, it takes 20-40 times the energy to create a magnet then the total output of the magnet, and eventually the magnet is used up. So in essence they are using it as a very inefficient fuel cell that has about a 5-1 lost in even best case scenarios.

You can do the same thing with transformers or a series of diodes and capacitors. It's the same thing that is used in stun guns. A 9-volt battery can deliver thousands of volts to render it's victim incapacated. You just built yourself a step up transformer, but one that relies on physical motion.

Yes, but you forget that it takes 9v and jumps the voltage up to 144,000v but drops the amps down to .01. All a 9v battery can do .5 amps, you see as you scale up the power the amps drop. (Kick force) And you can take 110, and scale it up to 440, but your amp rating drops dramatically. Unless one of the basic laws of physics is broken, you will never truly get more energy into a something then you put into it.

One common error made (almost *every* time, is the use of one type of meter for the measurements. Get these guys to use *proper* thermal equilibrium RMS power meters, and the "over unity" goes away.
