  • Very Interesting

  • waoh, i wish i read more constructive criticisms than other wise on the kajola video. and with close to 70,000 view, the video is so anticipated... i dont know much about movie production, but i sure kno a good job when i see such, after reading koolcube1's comment, i checked his page out, i wasn't surprised at seeing the no of SCI-FIs he has done. Thumbs up boss, i know u get better by the day, can't wait to see your next move, cos u ar best at creating new things...

  • Wetin be dis? Long hissssssssss!!!!!!!!!

  • nice idea but graphics cud b better

  • What is worth doing is worth doing well. The standard is below Hollywood standard!

  • i have to say, the graphics are terrible! embaressingly bad, and very basic! The cinematography, or rather the lighting in most of the shots is better than most nigerian films ive seen, (they tend to lack any asthetic or cinematic maturity in the cinematography in general) Still, while nigerian film industry def presents quantity over quality, its nice that they are attempting to explore and mature. Keep it up! Im a film editor in South africa, good luck with ur efforts nigeria!

  • It looks cartoon but that is what white people feed us most times, just look at AVATAR, it sells like pure water,,

  • We have to start somewhere... This is just the beginning, I really like this.

  • This movie is pathetic. nice try from the producers for an effort, but caliing this movie "the first in Africa" and so on "with hollywood style effects" is just riduculous. not even close!. the animations are childish for one. please don't get it wrong, i'm not a hater, i'm very passionate about naija, so it saddens me when people digrace us by pulling little stunts and calling it the first in africa, it just shows other people how backwards we still are. I'm a video editor based in the US.

  • I can not wait to see this movie for me it a dream come true I always wanted to see a Sci fi from our point of View (or some might say an African point of view since so do see us at the same people) In the west people of color Sci fi movies our pretty much killed off or one or two left. All I can say with out seeing this movie is give me more cause it can only get better from here. With the amount of Folklore and fairy tale you guys have over there more more more lol peace and love

  • brilliant trailer guyz!...

im impressed cus dis is def unexpected....

    totally lovely...

    xox

  • This is a very good and noble effort. We need to get real! Lucas, Cameron et al are beniffiting from a 100 year old history that had the assistance of military and government funding. Between Lucas's ILM and Pixar they practically invented the CGI industry. Anyone want to look at their early offerings? Didn't think so. This is one of THE most important films of the 21st century. Stay up.

  • Lmao!! CartOON Network

  • OH HELL YES

  • I actually like this trailer, definately a step up, our first Sci-Fi movie, have to start somewhere right. Think the concept is a bit like Sin City

  • the movie na wa ooo, let me watch it first

  • no be small thing o.....nollywood don go sci-fi

  • Looks like a video game to me...

  • @stellasaddiction That's the first thing that I said. ROFL.

  • this is really good.. i cant wait to see this movie

  • is this movie out yet?

can't wait to watch it......its different, unique....

  • great try horrible acting. this is always the case with most Nollywood production. No originality, the animation seems to to blend with the real. A lot more work still needs to be done to make Nollywood Movies actually become more world class. District9 is a much more world class movie than this one. But i still have my fingers crossed that Nollywood would develop even greater one step at a time.

  • reserve my comment about the movie's till i see it.....nice graphics...

  • @Arsenefaithful ......i got your message in my box, i see it's not fit to be on this channel next time when you write you need to write like someone who is properly brought up. Make a comment that is accepted socially if you think you belong here or your messages will be tossed.

  • @Arsenefaithful ......the movie may end up being a mayhem, but the whole concept is a job well done coming from nollywood!! it shows how much they have improved, that is if you have been following them for more than 25 yrs now.....i have.

  • omg cant wait to watch

  • personally its not my type of movie but its nice to see nollywood advancing like dat very good nollywood

  • 2059?

  • man I can't see my comment

@FroMaestro it isn't perfect but i appreciate the effort.i am sure in the future they will paint more realistic matte painting and matchmove realistic 3d models.

It is time for er.. Nollywood to shot at 24 fps . its the standard shooting frame rate.and I also hope they will reduce the yellings and disputes to a strict minimum

  • this is a big step in d industry it is at least better than many movies in nigeria but the same problem has bin spotted in this movie lack of patience d graphics could have bin way better if they spent more time rendering but still a nice step taken :D

  • whoa! How did you do the large perspective thing with third mainland bridge?

  • FROM the Director: thanks a lot guys. we really appreciate these comments. Movie premieres July 30th 2010.

  • @adonisproduction why did you guys have to slot in your release date with Ije? we all know Ije booked that date first.. is it a kind of competition?

  • Thank you for rising above the Nollywood garbage. Sure this isn't perfect, but I'm not interested in pointing out what I think it lacks right now ... it's trailblazing and I appreciate it SO MUCH!

  • This is too american now!!! with all the prolific talents we have ! y do we lack creativity & try to be original for once!!! haba??? this is soooo lame!kai, we see plot in american movies like all the time! the visual effects aren't quite bad..

  • @enigmaticebony oh yea wanna see

  • I really don't care whether this movie's effects are up to Hollywood's standard or not...it's a great step and I salute your effort

  • The bar has surely been raised. Well done!

Porn movies ??? please watch, learn and raise your game too !

  • The bar has surely been raised. Well done!

  • Thats why I love nollywood. Always improving but still keep it nigerian/african unlike

others who copy hollywood in totality.Kudos Adonis production

  • is that a sex scene...with his n her lower clothes still on...that shud make tins interesting considering the current state a naija movies but overall it looks like we r finally makin progress!

  • like most guy said it's a good start but still alot of work to be done to get to that top level but thumbs up for even trying

  • I certainly admire the ambition behind this, and can see all your likely influences. Terminator,Blade Runner ,Equilibrium,Judge Dredd, Demolition Man....etc .....ok possible influences

With some more time mastering Maya and 3D animation,Story Telling and honing directing skills, i can certainly see this as a talent to look out for.

Keep crafting ur skills dude, and you will go far.

  • thats my cousin good jod adonai1!!!!!

  • How refreshing!

  • I agree with you 100%. The Nollywood industry is growing, but is flawed when it comes to fundamentals. There are some Nigerian film makers geting it right though. There is this movie called "D'COMEBACK." The producers consulted with Hollywood Visual effect teams and lighting crews. check out their trailer on YouTube.

  • A Nice attempt! hopefully this will step up the game in Nollywood....it was things like this that helped improved the quality of Music in videos in Naija starting 5 years ago! Andonis will blaze the trail surely!!!!

  • Not a big fan of scifi but this seem very intriguing and a must watch

  • I HATE nigerian movies, but I must say this is definitly a step up.

  • nice step up 4 the nigerian movie(nollywood) industry

  • Interesting storyline in the trailer, makes one want to see it. Thats good. the graphics are innovative, and will probably look somewhat realistic with more editing. Nice work.

  • its a gud start

  • The best of Nigeria is yet to be seen. Gone are the days when we use to watch the biz without the show. This movie comes with the show, that is why it is called Showbiz. Keep it up Nigeria. You are the pride of Africa.

  • impressive...very impressive ...i ve seen the future of nollywood tru ur eyes...thank u

  • extremely experimental! powerful pioneering. the future is this, is now!

  • The future of filmography in Nigeria is not far from this. In fact, it is this!

  • FANTASTIC!!! NIGERIA ON THE MOVE!!!

  • thanks EVCL...that was very encouraging!

  • @adonisproduction No problem at all. It's easy to see you guys are really putting effort into what you are doing. Keep it up.

  • Nice work. Yes of course it could be more polished but considering the low budgets and mad turnaround times in Nollywood, this is a very good first step. Looking forward to seeing the movie.

  • Hey what part of Japan are you from? You near Okinawa?

  • the animation is good according to nollywood standards.. am impressed... but this is jst d beginning...

this effects need high quality polishing and perfection!
