A few years ago two parents went out to dinner a few hours later the babysitter called and asked if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids room. The dad said "get the kids out of the house and we'll call the police. We don't have a clown statue." the clown was actually a killer that escaped from prison 10 years ago. If u don't post this on ten videos, the clown will be in your bed with a chainsaw in his hand at 3:00 am. didn't feel like this happening to me
@usercogn Yes I think it is feasible to do so. I think a database view would do the trick. If you like, send me your data structure and a few rows and I can help you with the query. My email: mauricio.leyzaola@gmail.com
Excellent Video. Thanks Maulaz and it will be great if you could upload some videos on crosstab and also on the aggregate and rollup aggregate functions.

Very good tutorial, thanks. These days, I'm wondering something to go further.
Let's assume that you have created the item "sales YTD", and that you'll put it as column.
But as rows, you want to put another data item (also with the same structure => if /then/else; with the same measure, but based on another view).
Is it possible to cross 2 data items which have the same measure eventually?
At first sight, it seems it doesn’t work. Then would you make several queries to solve the issue?
thanks

@Foloeb: the software for capturing the video is Camtasia Studio and the software itself is Cognos.
