Thank you all for your wonderful comments!!! ^^ It's a shame that the first movie wasn't terribly good, although I have to say that I liked it.Well authors chose what they will do with their characters so I'm afraid there's nothing to do about it, although I don't recall Dustfinger desappearing absolutely from the story(since death is not definitive when there is fantasy). Cornelia Funke is very nice, she even gave me permission to have a Dustfinger tattoo =).

It sucks he dies but he is my favorite character as well as actor but if you like the movie READ THE BOOK!!! it is amazing
