@MrSupaStrait Hey...you don't sound like a dumbass. If you don't know, how are you ever going to if you don't ask? A locker locks both axles in motion with the carrier in the differential. Therefore you have both tires under full power. An "open" differential the power is transfered to the wheel with the least amount of weight on it. Usually the one you DON'T want to have spinning. Most stock "4x4's" only have two wheels (one on each axle) powering the vehicle.
