I would love to get in contact with one of them "spam engineers" since all newsletters from our webshop are blocked for gmail users.

But it is impossible to get in contact with Gmail. My web hotel says Hotmail can have similar problems but them you can contact and get it fixed.

And why does everything has to be for-dummies with Google/Gmail? It's nice as long as everything works as intended, but some times a bit of intelligence can be useful..

Gmail's spam filter sucks. About 10% of the mails in my Spam folder are legitimate. I've had job interview requests, facebook event invitations, DMV notices, and other important stuff get lost in the Spam folder, and I only find out about it when it's too late. FIX YOUR SHIT, GOOGLE. I'd rather have a few spams in my Inbox than real email in my Spam folder. This is completely fucking unacceptable.

I had to create a filter that keeps everything from being marked as spam if it doesn't contain {viagra, pfizer, special} in the subject line.

Now, all mail, including chats and mail sent by me, appears in the inbox. (I don't know if this is related though.) Thanks, Google.

I get them all the time, and I didn't give them permission to send to my e-mail address so they obtained it illegally. Come on Google make a feature where we can report gmailers who spam!

He has Gmail too, and we worked on the document together each from our own homes till after 2am before he finally submitted the finished product on Web CT only minutes before 3am. I never knew we could do that! Once we move on from "Romeo and Juliet" to "A Soldier's Play" and have to switch partners again, I'm going to see if my next partner has Gmail so we can do this again!

Looks good! I pretty much click "Select All" on my MSN email and then "Delete" just to get rid of email (I probably have over 100 again by now). Looks like I may not have to do that with Gmail. I'm hoping to study abroad, and if I have do cancel my internet service because of it I may consider my Gmail my permanent web based alternate email address for when I'm between "homes."
