I find it funny how a lot of Christian sermons begin with tearing your sense of value down. If I had done a good deed for every time a Christian told me my life is meaningless or worthless it still wouldn't mean anything to them just because I don't praise their particular deity. Sorry, but I do find a great value in my life and everyone else. The power to do great things for one another, not necessarily materialistic, but nevertheless great.
@DamienZshadow the VALUE is in an eternal perspective. everythings dying--wasting away--the fact is that your cars or materials or whatever cannot be taken with you after this life...I would not disagree that things have value...because they do have some value for a short time...but in comparison to an eternal timeline....it's clear that things that really matter are things that can't be seen...love is one...
@DamienZshadow (pt 2) People judge their lives by what they obtained a lot...they put value their n things. Materials cannot and will not fulfill you forever. your good deeds certainly don't hurt anyone, but followers of Christ know that love is of God- it's unconditional, it's sacrificing, it's deep. n no one who calls themselves Christian are perfect! I FIND GREAT VALUE IN MY LIFE TOO and other peoples'. God finds value in your life. He wants us to see the value of it- 2 kno how to value it.
@differentFOCUS I specifically said not materialism. Value can certainly be found in one's finite life without any possessive figures. As you stated, I find value in the love and compassion we build together. I find value in the accomplishments fellow man can do when working together towards a common goal. I find more value in the finiteness of our lives. Our limited time of existence makes this time together so precious it can never be replaced so we must make the best of our experiences.
@DamienZshadow its cool, the vid is directed more 2 Christians who SAY they believe in God/Jesus, but they ADD God on to their lives as an accessory. If some1 truly believes n something, it becomes a lifestyle/passion; not a flippant thing..When the guy says "no value apart from God," he's making a comparison..like the diff b/t saying "My life is so valuable, but with God, it's even more awesome!" AND "God is everything- I need Him! Nothing else compares!" He's challenging American "Christians"
@differentFOCUS Fair enough. I just happen to hear this common theme used also when preaching to nonbelievers. I see it more of psychological manipulation. The concept attacks one's concept of self worth by making them feel like they need a purpose, like a tool. If you are not being used then you are worthless. It seems to appeal to their nature to feel useful. What better way to make followers dependent on a religion than to demote any sense of self worth? That's just my interpretation though.
@DamienZshadow It IS, if that's the case. those people listening either come to God for those wrong reasons (believing they are scum, fear of Hell alone, etc.)--then hopefully find out later that Jesus died for them (so obviously they're worth something) and loves them and God is so much bigger than they thought..OR the listeners are just turned off altogether to God by some misrepresenting, manipulative evangelist.i know what God says about me -good things-it's not about what i do, but who i am
@DamienZshadow thanks man, you take care as well. btw, i loved some of the vids of you tricking and doin martial arts and stuff! Pretty good/amazing! :)
Do I want God? God is conciousness. I am conciousness. Therefore, I am God. How can I want something I am? The real question is this: if God is love and you are God, what does that make you? You are love. When we let go of the things that divide humanity (religion, race etc) and we learn to love everyone, then the Devil has lost. The only way to love everyone is to realise that we are all God. We are one with Him. None of us need to be saved, except from our own ignorance and fear. Peace.
@rabbitcanfly u started this philosophical comment with an assumption that God is consciousness...that's a loose assumption...what exactly brought you, a god, into godliness? (or consciousness). If you don't feel you need to be saved, then don't be...i partly agree with your comment. I believe though that God is within us (those who believe in Him)...and the only way to love everyone is to realize that we we're ALL made in God's image. People know there's a God. People do what they want.Shalom.
This is one of the most sickest, perverted, twisted, attack on the believers Helmet of Salvation and Armor of GOD. Wow. Washerucess, Calvinist, TULIPS and the like never know if they are ever saved even when they may think they are one of the elected they are still not sure so they "perservere" still not knowing if they are. I have a video that exposes this religous spirit and false doctrine for what it is. All those justified by faith in believing Jesus Christ KEEP UR ARMOR ON PLEASE!
The fact that so many religious people are offended by Paul Washer's messages is proof that many self professing "Christians" are phoneys whose spirituality goes no further than the Church's Front Door on Sunday.
Sitting on a Church Pew every other Sunday does not make you a Christian. A new life in Christ does.
Too many pseudo Christians get offended when anyone talks about REPENTANCE and HOLINESS. They act like Vampires around garlic when you start talking about leading Holy lives.
Amen, Amen, Amen! Happy is the man that knows Christ and spends his life with Him! He could have no money and be a more joyful man than a man with money!
Thank you for sharing this profound message. Prosperity is only as good as the love we exhibit, & what we share with those in need. If selfishness determines prosperity I want nothing to do with it. Prosperity is not worth dying for, but Jesus is worth living for!

Paul Washer cracks me up. He apparently not only finds him him self capable of determining the overall worth of each individual human beings life but his eternal destination as well. Such a humble man.
Stay with it! Good video, be encouraged. Hit us with more, I want to start incorporating sermon jams in my family devotions. God BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU AND MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON YOU!!!
Professor Armstrong, Scientist works at NASA, "I am impressed that how remarkably some of the ancient writings seem to correspond to modern and recent Astronomy. There may well have to be something beyond what we understand as ordinary human experience to account for the writings that we have seen."
Thanks for this, it was great. True words from one of the Godliest preachers alive; all I can say is, amen! There is no greater joy than the realization that *my* life and *my* plans are nothing - He is worthy, He is all, and my joy is so full in Him! What a great God we serve. Let's go tell everyone the true Gospel!

Jesus is true prosperity!
Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that finds wisdom, & the man that gets understanding.
:14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, & the gain thereof than fine gold.
:15 She is more precious than rubies & all the things you can desire are not to be compared to her.
:16 Length of days is in her right hand; & in her left hand riches & honour.
Prosperity means: Don't veer to the right or the left, but keep your eyes on Jesus!
