i use to love watching these when i was a kid.i just got me a guitar synth i think ill try to make my guitar sound like this and to learn this opening song i think it might be funny and bring back old memories for some people
Gosh....just think of all the billions of new neighbors Mr. Rogers will have now in Heaven? All of them will get to enjoy this great man.......and even learn to tie their shoes!
Mr. Rogers, blues clues, old time seseme street where the best things ever. when i babysit kids and they watch little kid shows, i realize. they dont hold a candle to the classics.
I LOVED this show! Sad, children won't be able to enjoy anything like this! With all the bull that comes on it'd be a shock for a quality children' show to be produced without any garbage that is shown on Nick or Cartoon Network.
The world I knew was a happier place when Fred Rogers was alive. God, I miss him. You have a place in Heaven, to be sure, Mr Rogers. You'll always be my neighbor.
Nostalgia!!! I used to watch this show when I was a kid and everytime it ends I always ask my mom to buy me a train set just like that!!! I give 'em mad props!!! Mr. Rogers is the man... R.I.P. Mr. Rogers...

Ohhhh - I love Mr. Rogers. Thank you, evilmanmike11, for providing this video.
I awoke this morning, and out of the blue, starting singing "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" - and I thought wistfully, "I want to see/hear Mister Rogers." So I made my bowl of oatmeal & went to the computer, and thanks to you, evilmanmike11, I fulfilled my wish! I'm an old-timer, and I will never tire of feeling the spirit that Mister Rogers can fill me with. He strived to make children feel good about themselves.
God Bless This Man Who Spent His Lifetime With All Of Us, I Always Wanted To Have That Special Neighbor Who Would Always Tell Me Your Special Now He's In A Better Place May God Be With You Fred Rogers Forever :') <3
I am brazilian so I never watched this show but somehow I felt something special inside me that bring back memories from my childhood and I started crying after that. I know I can't say much about the show but thank you for bringing me back this special feelings even never having watched the program and Rest In Piece Mr. Rogers I know you're like a grandpa to most of the adults and some teenagers of today and that you are in all those people's heart :´)
I have a retarded daughter who can't live without his videos. I sometimes wonder, as little as she understands -- even she feels the magic. I bought everyone of his tapes, in every thrift shop, Amazon and Ebay... his manner, his soothing voice, the things he talked about, the way he talked -- it's so amazing, priceless... this is all lost today. By the way, wonderful music too.
@ReBirthLunatic I'm 14. And I remember him Perfectly. I used to love watching him in the morning, much more than the stupid cartoons now a days. Man... I miss him so much..
@iLLiCiTMedia LOL. I am upset I only got to see only about 2-3 years of him. I cried when he died. I thought of him as my grandpa because I never met any of my granddads(they died before I was born) and I felt a connection with him. Generally an awesome person. And I turned 8 that September. But I'm glad Mr. Rogers is something all generations can enjoy. Doesn't matter if you're 40, or 12. You can all relate to that feeling he gave you when you watched the show.
Growing up with Mr. Rogers and also having him accompany my children, why is it I turn to these recording on a day before I am tested for pancreatic cancer? His song about it being hard to wait I needed to hear. I need the calmness, the surety. He was always there all my life. I miss him.
Oh shit, Mr. Rogers died...Jesus that's so sad, I didn't even know! I grew up with watching Mr. Rogers.! Compare Mr. Rogers' show to today's shows for children, now we know why kids in the new generation are stupid!

How come Mr. Rogers never seemed to have any meaningful employment to go to each morning like everybody else and why did he attract so many children to his home while their parents were away at work in the day? Where was Mr. Roger's wife when these kids were visiting? Hhmm...no job, no wife, plenty of cash and lots of kids hangin' around his house during the day. This whole situation makes me more than suspicious! LOL I'd call the cops and keep my kids at home. LOL

when your a kid you always feel alone but with mr. rogers you were never alone almost like nothing could happen mr rogers would protect you he was a good friend to me even if he never knew i miss my friend
i am a teen and i was thinking back on when i watched this show and my friends and i talked about him in class today. he was a wonderful and pure man and i loved his show. he is a great influence and who cares if he was in the army and has tatoos he never talked about killing people and getting tatoos! when i have kids they are gonna have to watch his show.
I was bummed out to hear that Mr. Rogers had died. I heard about it on the speaker when I was at school. I will never forget watching his WONDERFUL show. RIP Mr. Rogers. We will NEVER forget you or the last time you appeared on TV.
Mr. Rogers rocks he had 37 confirmed death in the army and the reason why he wore the jackets is because he was hiding the tattoos and battle scars idk what you ppl think Mr. Rogers is a inspiration to all kids and young and old adults and even me
@nosredna2516 WAKE THE FUCK UP,HE WAS A PREACHER,FOUGHT FOR THE U.S.MILITARY AND DID A GREAT SHOW FOR CHILDREN,I WATCHED HIS SHOW AS A KID DAY AFTER DAY,YOU JUST MADE YOUR COMMENT BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU ARE COOL,WELL YOUR NOT,MR.ROGERS WAS A POSITIVE THING FOR ALL TO ENJOY,SAD TO SEE YOUR THOUGHTS ON HIM.
There will never be another man with such a beautiful, pure soul. I always wished he was really my neighbor. The calm, quiet, honest look in his eyes...it was as if he was really talking to you through the tv screen.

I never had kids but if I did, this show would have been required viewing for them. Not enough positive influences for young kids. Today they need it more than ever.
I never had kids but if I did, this show would have been required viewing for them. Not enough positive influences for young kids ... Today they need it more than ever.
I watched this ALL the time, as a child!!! I wish that it still comes on, in Utah!!! Does anyone know if it still comes on, in Utah, still? If so, what time and what channel?
@islezynkeez72 : a great thing about god - he'd never imagine that people who don't care for Mr. Rogers hate Him. seems likely that people who use god to make a personal point, miss His.
I'm 18 and I vividly remember watching this in the mid-late 90's, as a very young child. Probably re-runs when I was watching it, but great memories nonetheless.
I am 30 now I grew up watching him I was devastated when he died. It was like losing a close friend I cry when I see his shows on u tube. Mr Rogers I miss you the untied states misses you and the world misses you. you are truly missed.
Ahh man i remember when i was a kid.... this would always come on after sesame street and Barney xD i miss him soo much but now there is really no decent children shows you have kids in pre k cussin a storm its bad.
That said, I think that Mister Rogers was truly a great man. I watched a lot of cartoons as a kid, some of it mindless silliness, and enjoyed it. And yet, I also watched Mister Rogers Neighborhood. And I think that everyone who ever watched this show as a child gained a spark of decency from Mister Rogers.
@Aasharu Look limp dick I dont have the time to argue with you. Im tired and im going to bed. So look it up, its not a lie, and I dont troll. I was just stating an interesting fact. You are the troll. If im wrong, then my bad I wasnt expecting to get such an asshole reply. Once again you are the only troll here. And if im wrong, too bad he wasnt one. Now fuck off and realize that sending troll messages is a waste of time and doesnt get you anywere.

The world needs Mr. Rogers now more than ever. I'm glad to see that so many other people carry him in their hearts.

Mr. Rogers rocks he had 37 confirmed death in the army and the reason why he wore the jackets is because he was hiding the tattoos and battle scars idk what you ppl think Mr. Rogers is a inspiration to all kids and young and old adults and even me

There will never be another man with such a beautiful, pure soul. I always wished he was really my neighbor. The calm, quiet, honest look in his eyes...it was as if he was really talking to you through the tv screen.
RIP Mr. Rogers.

I never had kids but if I did, this show would have been required viewing for them. Not enough positive influences for young kids. Today they need it more than ever.

@islezynkeez72 : a great thing about god - he'd never imagine that people who don't care for Mr. Rogers hate Him. seems likely that people who use god to make a personal point, miss His.

I'm 18 and I vividly remember watching this in the mid-late 90's, as a very young child. Probably re-runs when I was watching it, but great memories nonetheless.

only real mr. rogers rumor that is real is that he has a black brother. The 65 confirmed killed thing is pretty funny though, ahhh

I did look it up, and he wasn't. If you weren't trying to troll, then apologies - it's a frequent topic for trolling elsewhere. It's an urban legend.
