the best experience of my 24 years of existence was in rio de janeiro and salvador de bahia brasil. i spent 2 weeks there about 1.5 years ago and I've never been the same 8(

Nice, i live there. I moved there in in July 24. And the school started August 4. And btw, im going on American school (Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro) Est da Gavea 132 for people with Google Earth :D:D

ahh lovely city, rec to anyone who has time or money, not really that dangerous if you know simple comon sense when in ANY foregin country, i've known more peole who got roobed in NYC or Europe than in Rio

yes its true.. south zone of rio where are the turistic points.. isnt dangerous, alot of rich people, tv actors and other celebritys live in these neighborhood. u can see policemans in all the corners in copacabana, ipanema, leblon and other points in the city
