  • Thats neat! Regardless of whether ppl believe it or not, its awesome to see you at least sharing your knowledge for everyone to try :) People try to shun help for reasons like "it looks stupid" or "that'd never work" but the fact that your trying to help at all is wonderful in itself. Two thumbs of for all of you that actually give a damn about others :)

  • hmmm...this doesnt seem to be a good example....any skeptic could see that when asked the question of a "yes" answer, or your false truth ( name) anyone can throw the ball right in front of themselves....or whip it across the room....

  • I lost the ball behind the sofa, can't find it now.

  • @quietman18 try throwing your cat, bet you anything you wont lose that!!! It will cling to the couch.

  • Alkistis, is this part of your house? and if so, what is it?

  • Yes, it is the indoor swimming pool room.

  • I smell pseudoscience

  • all science starts out as pseudoscience

  • @HigherPlanes : I question the validity of your statement on its own merits, but even if its true, it doesn't mean that all psuedoscience is bound to become science. Only that research which can withstand criticism and respond with proof (instead of with logical fallacies) actually gets to become science.

All the same, I appreciate the worth of the strong placebo effect that some of NLP provides, and in any case, I really do think Alkistis is out to do good in the world. :) Thanks Alkistis!

  • Just do it first, and then judge please.

  • I've never had crystal healing therapy, but I know it's still a pseodoscience.

Besides, subjective experience isn't scientific. Pseodoscience often uses subjective experience in the place of objective science.

  • Thanks Alkistis! Quite fascinating. I question, though, whether we are easily able to discern when we are manipulating our answers. I.E., If I test my true name, is it easy to produce a weak throw? Or if there is a solution that I most desire to be true but isn't, is it easy to manipulate the throw to make that solution seem the best? How can we tell? Just curious. Can't wait to try this out!!! Fascinating!!! =)

  • When we use a pendulum it is easier to manipulate, but throwing the ball to the distance it is not so easily manipulated. But best is if you try for yourself.

  • 90%??that's not fair

  • Does Caballete66 want to meet Alkistis in Miami?...

The ball was throwed very hard...

  • It's good to havea dog next to you to fetch the ball.

  • That's for sure!

  • thank you for the video ! i will give it a try ! : )

  • Now thats what I call having a ball.....

  • Very good excercise....I like it ... another great tool here Alkistis... I can use this to make a judgement on the range of questions that I have put forward,

  • But our subconscious is where we form bad habits like smoking so if I ask it do I want a cigarette then it will say yes! We don't want our subconscious to lead our thinking - just as frankiedetergent was saying. In other words your subconscious won't necessarily be making the right choice for you so you can only treat this as a game.

  • That is why ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS IS SOOOO IMPORTANT. You could ask "What is the best way that I can quit smoking?" a) via hypnosis mp3 ?b) with nicotine patch? or c) with nicotine gum? etc... you see my point now I hope.

  • good trick. but. maybe u should put more emphasis in the explanation that this trick is for finding out what ur subconscious thinks(and then work on changing it), 'cause u say it like: find ur answers with this trick (meaning letting ur "default" subconscious take control of ur life - which is unwanted). or i wasn't paying much attention and i didn't get it :p

  • Asking the RIGHT QUESTIONS, is the most important thing. You must offer 3-4 SOLUTIONS and see which your subconscious wants to follow through & commit to. (see also my answer to 'mysteriousgirl1000' above.

  • Great Vid... thank you.

How do we direct our subconscious so it is line with our goals .........I find this difficult. The subconscious slips into it;s old routine most days. My conscious mind wants certain thing but I know my subconscious tell me different.... how to align them ...I have found meditation difficult. Thanks you for this vid and all your others.

  • practice meditation for a few weeks without 'trying' to do anything.. just do the excercises. You'll get the hang of it.

You actually do it every night before you go to sleep. It just takes practice to maintain the state and not slip into sleep.

  • @shuttledik what's with the don't fall asleep? i mean, i put a computer recording, i'm conscious for 20min, then i fall asleep, and that will play for another 15min. and i have a software for shutting the computer. what's wrong with that? could that sleeping part cancel the conscious part? :)) c'mon

  • @FrankieD

Well, I'm no expert, but I believe you want to remain concious to get full effects. Sleep after could indeed affect any previous self programming. ... It's not 'bad' by any means. You'll get the relaxation benefits either way. I definitely recommend Maxwell Maltz's influential work Psycho-Cybernetics (sp??). It's an easy read and very helpful.

  • Thank you that is true, that book is very good !

  • Please see my answers above. Also, if you find meditation difficult: perhaps you should opt for guided meditations, like my mp3 "The deep Relaxation"...
