With a Diesel turbo, 900 HP can fit under that hood. The right Diesel can stomp any gas engine. It's taking time for many to learn this. The compression is already at 18-21 to 1 in a Diesel and the fuel contains much more energy. When you turbo supercharge and tune it....watch out...it's a beast.Why do you think there are no gasoline powered heavy trucks hauling 90,000 pounds down the road.

@cybervorex The reason that trucks are not petrol powered is because petrol don't produce any where near the same amount of torque as a diesel. A petrol car with modifacations will always beat a diesel car for HP, but a diesel will always have more torque.
