There is nothing like dragging your knee around a turn at 140 mph, nothing like driving out of a corner with the rear spinning up, nothing like braking hard for a turn, backing it in and slamming it into a hairpin turn. Of course its in MPH. when i was younger and i was in the passenger seat of a car i always looked at the white lines and counted how long it took to get to the next one. at 60 mph it took 1 second to get past 2 of them . so do the math. in 1 solid second going 120 mph you can get past 4 white lines. , going 160 mph + in the vid. in 1 second you can get past 6 + lines. and in the video there going past the white lines like crazy.
all i know is, i learn from watching vids like this. i can quite see how the novice would end up in pieces if they were to ride at this speed. some knowledge is better than none.

Yeah its too bad the CBR1000 In Sport Rider a few months ago pumped out the fastest lap in the literbike show down at Infineon raceway.Oh and they have owned the isle a man TT for the past 4 years.Faster lap than the 175hp bmw with traction control.Say what you want.
I'm curious about a few things. First, do you have a speedo healer on the bike? My CBR reads about 10% high at any speed, especially above 120. Second, did you change any of the gearing? Lastly, what tires are you running. All these factors will throw of the speedo, some by a huge amount.
Either way, still crazy fast. I've hit the governor on mine, and it was a freaking rush.
@mdanm5 Dunlop 200/55 N-Techs with speado healer and 1 tooth up in the rear sprocket installed, speedo 185, on gps 179mph+ depending on the wind. same as with the 190/50 and stock gearing
Fun bike, but too bad is the slowest of the 1000s. I've rode them all (1000s) in one day (Demo day). I liked the CBR because of its handling, other than that compare to the other 1000s it is a slow bike. If Honda could put the horse power of the other liter bike in the CBR, I'll be the first one to get one. Bottom line faster than 600 slower than 1000. Good video man.
@Sneer111 Slow? The CBR1000RR is far from slow. But I guess riding the dealer demo bikes you can really tell the difference in power between them all. It usually 80% rider that makes a bike fast. I guess thats why I destroy all the other brands on my slow CBR. Lmao.
@da1000rrstuna Your right "stunna". The CBR aint slow at all. I sometimes get the jump on a couple 06's that I ride with but they walk my 750 down so I wouldn't dare call it slow. Im thinking Sneer was saying that its slow in comparison to the other 1000's. It is definetly the rider most of the time. I watched one of those 06 CBR's with just a slip on outride a 07 10R with a full akrapovic and power commander but lose to a GSXR 1000 with the same mods except for it being a yosh pipe.
@neonmike1000 the only liter bike the CBR is noticeably slow against is the BMW along with the Gixxer, R1,and ZX10.The BMW on the street just rips past these bikes like they're 600s.Now, the CBR compared to the Gixxer,R1,and ZX10 is either in front or right on their ass.I've pretty much ran against(all in clean fun)these bikes top end for a few miles and no one ran away from the other.Maybe a few bike lengthens but nothing to run around bragging about.The BMW on the other hand destroys them all.
totally agree with you! i have an 07' 1000RR and I have no problem tearing up anything on the road! Most of the guys on liter bikes have no business being on them as it is. I work at a local motorcycle shop and I hear it almost 3 times a week "my buddies say i should get a 1000 for a first bike cause i will grow out of a 600" WTF. a 600 is still capable of 160mph. and with the right rider has no problem keeping up.

For people out side the area your balls have to be the size of a water mellon to do this run at this pace! This is the Norther to the GCP! NY offers some of the most beautiful runs anywhere period! extreme tight turns ellivation change like a mother! and striaghts that would produce 200+ if his speedo could say so. and to top it off no cross winds. Its bumpy with pot holes and slippery tar pathes. my favorit! These are excellent riders! nice ride boys boys

Also, for all the "take it to the track" comments, there is no track that is 28 miles long and relatively straight, closest thing is Isle of Man. This is happening at 3am when no soccer moms are out, and they are being as safe as possible with regard to other people. It's not 100% safe, but the risk is managed as much as possible. Just enjoy the video for what it is and stop with the judgements already.
Anybody who thinks this is KPH is just retarded. Its 3am, even the people they are passing are doing 90. Also, check out the shift points, at 180 plus they are in 6th Gear -- at 13K RPM. It's called TOP END you morons, and it's clearly 180 MPH +. The only question is how much+. At that speed does the bike stop accelerating or is it still going with just the speedo locked?

Of course its in MPH. when i was younger and i was in the passenger seat of a car i always looked at the white lines and counted how long it took to get to the next one. at 60 mph it took 1 second to get past 2 of them . so do the math. in 1 solid second going 120 mph you can get past 4 white lines. , going 160 mph + in the vid. in 1 second you can get past 6 + lines. and in the video there going past the white lines like crazy.

@XDXist Ok, but I ride a Honda. Someone asks a question about the bike and I give my best opinion. As for the Busa? The BMW will stomp on it. The new zx 10? That will get its ass kicked too. We just got a new zx10. ECU is gettin flashed and the pipe was ordered. We will see how fast it is real soon. And never for get the power to weight ratio. Busas are tanks. As for being the King? Around these parts(just all of the tri-state area and L.I.) I am the KING.

Yeah its too bad the CBR1000 In Sport Rider a few months ago pumped out the fastest lap in the literbike show down at Infineon raceway.Oh and they have owned the isle a man TT for the past 4 years.Faster lap than the 175hp bmw with traction control.Say what you want.

I'm curious about a few things. First, do you have a speedo healer on the bike? My CBR reads about 10% high at any speed, especially above 120. Second, did you change any of the gearing? Lastly, what tires are you running. All these factors will throw of the speedo, some by a huge amount.
Either way, still crazy fast. I've hit the governor on mine, and it was a freaking rush.

@mdanm5 Dunlop 200/55 N-Techs with speado healer and 1 tooth up in the rear sprocket installed, speedo 185, on gps 179mph+ depending on the wind. same as with the 190/50 and stock gearing

Fun bike, but too bad is the slowest of the 1000s. I've rode them all (1000s) in one day (Demo day). I liked the CBR because of its handling, other than that compare to the other 1000s it is a slow bike. If Honda could put the horse power of the other liter bike in the CBR, I'll be the first one to get one. Bottom line faster than 600 slower than 1000. Good video man.

@da1000rrstuna Your right "stunna". The CBR aint slow at all. I sometimes get the jump on a couple 06's that I ride with but they walk my 750 down so I wouldn't dare call it slow. Im thinking Sneer was saying that its slow in comparison to the other 1000's. It is definetly the rider most of the time. I watched one of those 06 CBR's with just a slip on outride a 07 10R with a full akrapovic and power commander but lose to a GSXR 1000 with the same mods except for it being a yosh pipe.

@neonmike1000 the only liter bike the CBR is noticeably slow against is the BMW along with the Gixxer, R1,and ZX10.The BMW on the street just rips past these bikes like they're 600s.Now, the CBR compared to the Gixxer,R1,and ZX10 is either in front or right on their ass.I've pretty much ran against(all in clean fun)these bikes top end for a few miles and no one ran away from the other.Maybe a few bike lengthens but nothing to run around bragging about.The BMW on the other hand destroys them all.

totally agree with you! i have an 07' 1000RR and I have no problem tearing up anything on the road! Most of the guys on liter bikes have no business being on them as it is. I work at a local motorcycle shop and I hear it almost 3 times a week "my buddies say i should get a 1000 for a first bike cause i will grow out of a 600" WTF. a 600 is still capable of 160mph. and with the right rider has no problem keeping up.

In Florida several months ago, the cops were chasing 7 dudes like this with a helicopter across alligator alley in the everglades...all went to jail, impounded bikes, felonies...fun while it lasts..here's to ya..more guts than I have.

For people out side the area your balls have to be the size of a water mellon to do this run at this pace! This is the Norther to the GCP! NY offers some of the most beautiful runs anywhere period! extreme tight turns ellivation change like a mother! and striaghts that would produce 200+ if his speedo could say so. and to top it off no cross winds. Its bumpy with pot holes and slippery tar pathes. my favorit! These are excellent riders! nice ride boys boys

Also, for all the "take it to the track" comments, there is no track that is 28 miles long and relatively straight, closest thing is Isle of Man. This is happening at 3am when no soccer moms are out, and they are being as safe as possible with regard to other people. It's not 100% safe, but the risk is managed as much as possible. Just enjoy the video for what it is and stop with the judgements already.

Anybody who thinks this is KPH is just retarded. Its 3am, even the people they are passing are doing 90. Also, check out the shift points, at 180 plus they are in 6th Gear -- at 13K RPM. It's called TOP END you morons, and it's clearly 180 MPH +. The only question is how much+. At that speed does the bike stop accelerating or is it still going with just the speedo locked?

@brokernewyork Generally most new bikes speedo will stop at 186 mph. Its because most new bikes are digital and 186 mph is 299kmph. The new speedos werent engineered to hit 300kmph. Kinda stupid really.
