  • Seems like the low light capabilities in your video are simillar to those in my comparison tests with the panasonic. Just wanted to verify because lots of people complained that my videos were not accurate. But after looking at this video, the quality is similar with the noise in the dark areas.

Thanks for your time to post the videos.

  • hi there,

sorry just wondering, was that video shot with avchd settings or MP4 settings? both are 1080p, but I wonder which has better video quality? That video looks kinda noisy.

I have the same camera and testing it in low light settings brings out the noise on my video as well, even on avchd.

  • @aquariuz AVCHD in this camera is interlaced while MP4 progressive (though at 1440x1080).

  • @LumixTZ7 whats better? interlaced or progressive?

  • Progressive.

  • @Luckzzz Thank you man! What do u think is better. HX5 or TZ10 ? lol

  • @aquariuz

I prefer MP4 for lowlight conditions - 25p does allow longer exposure times for each frames, therefore the lowlight performance increases a bit.
