doesn't this one clean up when you use your guitar volume?, in fact how about more tests that include showing the reaction between the guitar volume and the pedals, it's important to players.
Great demo again the Dude who has Gear Man. I think I might just buy this Fuzz. Like a lot of people in the Fuzz community(Ha!)we're tired of certain red boxes(ahem) being sold for $500 when they used to sell for $169. They're used but in mint condition and aren't available anymore hmmm....hype? Yes I think so. This London Fuzz sounds rich but is simple, perfect.
I can't recommend this sucker enough for people who are into fuzzes. It's not gonna self oscillate or go into high gain heaven, but it's a super usable, great sounding, quiet pedal that well outlives the honeymoon period.
Wow... I'm like studying about transistors for my electronics exam a moment ago, and here comes ppl talking about silicon and germanium transistors :]

I wish this dude, gear man what ever he call him self, play before he intrude his same o white freaking cable and other same O shit, that make me sick every time i hear it..
how do you think this sounds compared to, say, a Frantone Sweet? Hmm.....maybe it's time for a boutique fuzz showdown, with a Big Muff Pi, perhaps? just sayin.....MF
in your opinion wich one sounds better this one r the first model?

this or sunface bc108 for closest sound to the original dallas arbiter?
Nimrod9458 11 months ago
Dear Gearmanndude...
Could you please do a shootout with the analogman bc108. MXR classic 108 fuzz and this fuzz? They all sound killer, but i can't afford them all.
thank you and ROCK ON! :)

The song at the beginning is the best song from Highway to Hell apart from obviously Highway to Hell.

I thought the London Fuzz II was the silicon one, and the germanium one is simply the London Fuzz? Unless he's painted this the wrong colour?

I've heard mixed things about the Brit Bender regarding single coils. I heard it's great with humbuckers though.

It's not germanium, it's the silicon version !

Just received mine from Tone Factor (gave a shout to GMD) >>>a very nice well rounded vintage sounded fuzz.
One comment on guitar volume roll off... a lot fat bass enters into the mix at the end of the spectrum (say going from 8.5 to 10)
Also, I found the FUZZ knob range completely usable throughout all its range - incrementing gradually as opposed to leaps and bounds- NICE!
thanks for the demo - helped me a lot on my decision

does the regular dunlop fuzz face have germanium trans in em or do they just say that. is it really op amp based?
PopExpo 2 years ago
You should put some fuzzs into a shoot out.
Stone Bender
Swollen Pickle
London Fuzz
Fuzz Face
Fuzz Haze.
Nice sound reminds me of a cross between a fuzz face and a tone bender.
JRindee 2 years ago
he should do a shoot out, but he should shoot out fuzzes that are similar. London Fuzz, MXR BC108 Fuzz, JH Fuzz Face, Fuzz Haze, etc
