This is a good video. However, by Kate and Melodie going over to him, it cancelled out the bystander effect by creating a group others could join. If they had not gone to him, I'd be willing to bet that a lot more time would have passed before others stepped in. This disgusts me. I'm an EMT by career and there is simply no way that I would ever pass by someone like that. People are just afraid to react.

This is actually really irresponsible and immature. I know that you guys were probably trying to make some sort of inference about society and how much people care (or how little) when things like this happen, but as young people without any justified reason (like a legitimate study purpose for statistics/real observations), making anyone worry or anything like this is wrong. Faking any sort of incident that could be a real issue elsewhere is horrible to do. Very, very immature.

Yet as young people we have an open mind about society. I don't believe this as being irresponsible or immature, we are young but not that young. @dirtydirtydirty12ify I think it actually shows a lot of initiative to explore the area of social conformity practically. Its always nice to see people taking an active role in their education and for all you know they may have constructed a debrief for the woman that stopped.
