When I unlocked this weapon on PS3 I equipped it right away and some glitch made my guy hold the weapon above his head and I could not ADS either. It worked right the next time I turned the console on though.

@lamontisabigdummy Yeah, that problem only happens to the PS3 version of the game and only on the new maps from the expansion pack.

Wrong statement, the gun hold 75 ammo, with the extended mags upgrade, it holds 100 not 50. Anyways great review. Still need 10 suppression assists more to unlock. Also does it have a 8x or 6x scope/sniper scope?

@7bruno98 you need to complete the assignments there's ten of them, in the menu then from my soldier - assignments and you can see what you need to get it, you get none of the weapons automatically

Have you thought of doing 4 videos of your preferred weopon for each class and your loadout with each weopon. I guess it may vary depending on game type. But i would love to see some of your preferred weopons in each class.

After getting 2,100 kills with my beloved M240 Bravo, this gun is a weapon I use as often.

I use it with:

ACOG 4x, If you use the weapon's 2 shot burst, it devastates at long range.

Foregrip, for close range as well.

Extended mag, because who doesn't love double the ammo?

Very good review, and it is an awesome weapon.

the one thing that I dislike about this gun is it's ammo capacity without extended mags which is 51. so with such a high rate of fire, you have no choice but to use extended mags

I would have rather DICE put the XM8 LMG instead of this one, but still, not bad..

I play on the PS3 and it appears some sorrt of glitch impedes this weapon from being used on BK2 maps.. although it plays fine on all other maps.

You may need to redo this review, man. DICE have acknowledged that the MG36 and QBU-88 don't act as they should and will be rectifying it.

@salari they're talking about a glitch when you use it on the karkand maps on PS3. What happens is your soldier holds it above his head and all you can see is the soldiers arms blocking your screen and you cant play because his arms are blocking the screen and you cant see your gun unless you run. You have to use your sidearm.

the g36c is a smaller version of the g36. mg36 is the lmg version of the g36. developed by germans . ( im not sure)
