@lastquest Thank you for subbing to my channel. I haven't had any problems with canning on my glass top stove. I will can about 2 times per week or more. What was it that you heard was the issue?
From the first day, I've been hooked on canning. It has been a lot of fun. I find that we waste less, since our leftovers often end up in canning jars instead of tupperware in the fridge. And my family seems to love the "meals ready to eat".
There are plenty of folks that know more about the subject.
@lastquest The Presto pressure canners/cookers have a flat bottom. The box says ideal for glass top stoves. At least the newer ones do. The companies that make pressure canners would not want to miss out on any sales because people have glass top stove.....Paula
Did you check for air pockets, or is that only done if you put liquid in it for a hot pack?
