I wonder if that awesome-sounding trip included the then under construction Euro Disney?
I had no idea how huge glow-in-the-dark stuff was in 1990.
"I'm their biggest fan! I have the dolls, the stage, the phone, and I broke into their houses and cut off locks of their hair while they were sleeping!"
I agree with you about the Eggo kids. Really, waking up 15 minutes earlier so you can be the first downstairs is far easier than building a Rube Goldberg contraption.
OMG. Squeezits. A childhood favorite now gone up to discontinued junk food heaven. Luckily, they still sell Mondos. But, they really were not as good.
Aww man. Gameboy, Disney Afternoon, going home after school everyday. Saturday mornings in front of the tube, saturday night snick. Are You Afraid of the Dark? Kenan n' Kel, and of course the first 4 seasons of All That! Can't forget about 90's music. Keebler. Them huge lunch boxes. I feel sorry for these 2000's kids. Crappy shows, and a poor sense of community in school. I miss the 90s.
@spongsteven I lost it at the new kids on the block commercial. hilarious shit. all i could think of while watching that was "and then god sent kurt" and that whole shitty 90's pop era faded lol
I had Baby Sparkles when I was a kid because my big sis had PJ Sparkles. And the way that I had my baby light up was to shake her. I shook that baby like crazy, I never gave it love or fed her like in the commercial.
The advert for the New Kids On The Block toy line had just reawakened some unpleasent memories.....I was in my freshman year of high school when their popularity peaked. >:(
Man, I miss those McDonald pails...and I miss how McDonald's used to be w/ the Ronald McDonald and the characters. Now their commercials are so ghetto-themed. Will they get rid of the lame "I'm lovin' it" slogan cuz I'm really "hatin' it"?!
@Muggle423 And, with so much emphisis put on their chicken nuggets, why not give the Chicken McNuggets a comeback? They're healthy enough to escape backlash from angry, illinformed parents. I think.
The VHS quality brings back more memories than the commercials do.

Man I gotta set up my old race track now, specially since I can curse freely when the pieces don't line up like I want them to.
The only dark splotch on the 90's....the birth of Boy bands.

Was there a single kid's cartoon series that didn't have a "Hero/Villain Switcheroo" episode?
Does buying every piece of NKOTB merchandise make you a huge fan or a huge sucker?
Why haven't I seen a Trix commercial yet?

Those dang Mini Middles cookies! I think there was more to them than "Elfin Magic", cuz they were like CRACK!
Plus, Game Boy was certainly the shiznit back in the early 90s. It made the portable games a reality, and it still shines on today in newer forms.
