@ohwowwahwaow What if that baby was going to be the next Pres. or maybe save many lives one day? The already grown person may be close to dieing already as well, so wouldn't it be more intelligent to let the baby live? To be honest they should just let whatever happens, happens. Not kill one to save the other. They should just wait and see what happens, you never know, they may both live?
"Let whatever happens, happen". "They may both live" but more likely they will both die. And welcome to the Dark Ages. Motherless children often wind-up uncared for. There are millions of them world-wide living in the streets. "President", indeed. If there really is a situation where it is either the life of the mother or the child, the adult person is the more viable. How very cavalier of you; you can tell that you are a male.
@mmedefarge And you can tell your a woman? You never know, they could both live? The baby could grow up to help save the world, something the mother more-than-likely didn't do. Your just selfish and if you had to choose between your child and yourself, you would choose yourself and not thing what you could have done to the world by letting the baby live. If I was a woman, I'd let the child live. I'd rather die to save a life then watch and wonder what could have happened.
@6production9 No. And your not a woman & will never be in that situation so it's easy for you to pontificate. The House recently passed a bill making it ILLEGAL for Medicaid funds to be used to save the life of a mother in a situation where saving her life would mean killing the child. No one is given an option. Perhaps they've been listening to too many teenage boys.
@mmedefarge Now because of my age I'm wrong and your rite? We have our own opinions, and it sounds like this has happened to you. If it has or hasn't I'm sorry either way. For the loss, or for being so ignorant.
@mmedefarge Yet again, because of my age and sex you think that I am immature and don't make wise decisions. I even asked my mother what she would rather choose. She said from her own experience she would rather have the child live, for it is the rite thing for a mother to do. I'm also so immature that I'm fighting about an opinion to a teenager. I just think you lost a child, and it was either you or the child. You chose yourself and now are trying to make an excuse to why youchose urself
@6production9 It takes life experience & maturity to make these kinds of decisions; two things which you clearly do not have. No, it's you who are ignorant.
@6production9 What if the mother was going to be the next president or save many lives one day? What if the baby was going to be a serial killer? WHAT DOES IT MATTER?
I am a woman, and I could never imagine aborting a child, but I would never judge another woman for doing so. it's a personal decision, not a political one, and it's an issue of public health, not an issue of morality.
I'm watching this on tv right now and I'm a mother, I had complications during my pregnancy, and even during labor, i ended up having an emergency c-saection and I can't believe the thing I've just read here specially the one person that wrote abortion is the answer, I think if my daughter would have died I wouldn't have made it either, no one knows what it is to b in that position, if I had to choose between saving my life or my baby's I would have chosen hers a million n one times I lived alr
a lot of people all around the World will apply for an US visa just for getting to watch this movie in the Land of the ... brave and of the rich mothers of 1 each who care so much about the pennyless mothers of a dozen each.
I just dont understand how you can group women who have an abortion with mothers. Whatever your stance on abortion is dosent matter, women who have an abortion are not mothers and should not have been included in this movie.
@ohwowwahwaow indeed, that is a valid point and i agree with you on that, that the mother is the child-bearer & so she must be protected in order to have more babies in the future.. BUT if you watched the trailer, it says "but almost all of these deaths can be prevented"... it might be indirect killing due to medication side-effects (unfortunately), or even an improved health-care system, but not abortion. =)
@ohwowwahwaow dude, it's NOT just a bunch of cells.. those "bunch of cells' have ALL the potentiality to be a fully grown person, and you can't just stop the life of a Human Person. And the argument that "it won't even know what happened" is a total fallacy. Why? I can kill you in your sleep, & you won't know what happened. So is that justifiable? -.-

@6production9 And who are YOU to decide? THE DECISION SHOULD BE UP TO THE WOMAN, not anyone else. It's her life, her body, her child.

@mmedefarge That's kind of what I said in my last comment?

@sandrofilipee No, but on a sponsored video like this I would think there are certain restrictions with copyright that one would be forced to follow.
