Und dass man das Signal direkt auf einen Laptop mit diversen Sequencern (Cubase etc.) aufnehmen kann, während es auf der anderen Seite von Monitoren/PA-Anlagen wiedergegeben wird ist auch nichts neues. Ich weiß nicht, wann du deine Ausbildung gemacht hast, aber sich weiterbilden schadet nicht. (Boss RC-50 dürfte im Übrigen eine eigene Speicherfunktion haben).
