I heard the great interview on 'The Story' w/ Dick Gordon today.

listened to an interview on NPR about this today, a really touching/tragic story, would love to see the whole doc.

The documentary will be broadcast on PBS in Southern California during the month of November. Check your local PBS stations. Premieres Thursday night November 6th @ 8:30 pm and again on Sunday night November 9th @ 5:30 pm. Repeating throughout the month of November.

My cousin Brian just recieved an award for videographer of the year in his name. And the crazy thing is (he didn't realize) William T. Perkins' mother "Puzzie" was friends and went to high school with our grandma. Did that make sense.

I thought that it was a really cool little story.

Wow what a coincidence! Did Brian receive the award at the conference at the Wilshire Grand Hotel? Did you or Brian get to see the film on Thursday morning?

I really don't know if he saw it. He doesn't really make a big deal about these things. All I really know is that the military flew him to California for the thing, then he told me about the award, which is how we figured out that my grandma went to Mercy with Puzzie Perkins and stuff... but I will ask him because I will prob see him tomorrow.

This was a awesome film. Bieng as I was there when it happen it sure can bring tears to my eyes. Some things we never forget. To Above and Beyond the call of duty to save fellow Marines and give your life.
