I've now listened to many of her works here on You Tube and have not much to say about her style, but I will say, she is intelligent and definitely highly skilled, and while MANY here on the site depreciate that as the 'mean', I disagree, it's actually quite rare... rarer than I had ever hoped to recognize when I was a child. Instrumental skills SHOULD be included in the Stanford Binet.
just cuz we(Europe ppl ) speak more that ONE one language doesn't make us stupid , and remember where CULTURE was created .... Mars? naa Europe again ...
Guys I need votes in order to be elegible for a full scolarship at Musician's Institute in California! Check my video and vote IF YOU LIKE IT at: tinyurl dot com slash 4vjuz37 I Assure you this is not SPAM!
Thsi is what you said on your website: "Then, I believe it is time for classical musicians to finally say out loud that we are in the entertainment business. Intellectual, elegant, thought provoking, but entertainment." YOU ARE SO WRONG...And I feel very sorry for you...
@chiv78 Save your pity. This is a serious, thoughtful, and very talented artist who looks to have a brilliant career ahead of her because she knows how to tap into the culture of the times. Did you ever read about Liszt's theatrics as a performer? An entertainer if ever there was one--and a great artist.
Whether or not intellectual music that runs the gamut of human emotion is entertaining to an individual or not is subjective. You belittle someone for a difference of opinion. Not too mature.
@ronbobathon *sigh*...that's all I can say... Enjoy what you are hearing, and seeing, and obviously what you are seeing is much more important to you than what you are hearing... Good luck!
i know what a dick he kept cutting her off. i mean i know its kind of his job to get the talking over with because theres a time limit but she needs to share her story! hahha
That was very nice indeed. There is a tendency for performers to play something "grandiose" on these sorts of shows. This piece was a nice little piece, which also demonstrated Lola's obvious talent, which being throughy enjoyable.
@swanningaround She is "grandiose" and has studied with some of the great teachers in Europe. Have you seen better on youtube? There are a lot of them. Only a few people in the world can play as well as she does.
Lola, I have a request for you.... Would you please, Play on Video for me, Addinsell's, "Warsaw Concerto"? It is my favorite piece, which i am just begining to learn. To hear you play it would be an honor to me. So if you could, I would greatly apprieciate it.. I happen to think that you are THE BEST! Thank you in advance!....Eddie
wow you are so talented i've seen all your videos! i can't believe you started performing when you were eight years old! I love watching you play you always look like your having fun.

@doceigen Tests are meaningless. Talent shall always be brought forth by the individual.

@JeffersonDinedAlone Wrong! Tests are valid qualifiers, only total losers who perform badly on them, say they are crap.
