"Knight Rider 2000" is crap that only tampers with the storyline as it does not really do anything other than kill off Devon Miles and turn K.I.T.T. into a tomato-on-wheels. And that modern show with Justin Bruening is just crap period. I cannot believe they actually had it be the same universe as the original TV show. There has been talk over the years about a major motion picture being made.

One has been in talks for almost 10 years now, but there always seems to be some kind of delay. The older fans who remember the TV show from when it was actually on want it to continue from the series with Michael Knight in place of Devon Miles while a young man is now in his place- but the younger fans are wanting it to be a remake doing an update of the pilot episode.

I quit watching it after just a couple of episodes because I felt like it was only doing a continuation that was not really necessary. I feel like the original TV show was fine the way it was and did not need anything to follow the final episode despite it not having an actual ending to the series. Therefore- I hope the next "Knight Rider" story is actually a fresh reboot.

I have seen every single episode to this show and own all the seasons on DVD. I thought it was really cool when I was watching the episodes for the first time, but now I think it is probably one of the silliest shows I have ever watched. I used to watch this along with episodes of "MacGyver" (I have seen every episode to that too and own all seasons on DVD). I thought it was ironic to see Dana Elcar in one episode of this as well as Patricia McPherson and Edward Mulhare each in episodes of that.
