Nice prominent Soviet-era Russian Flag (which no respectable Russians would display these days) being flanked by the Lao flag. (Because that's what it seems like: the communist Lao flag doesn't seem to have much meaning, if it is not part of the old Soviet flagging symbol.) I guess the Lao communist comrades just don't wanna let go of the old Soviet revolutionary flag... too many good memories of the heydays of good ole communism...
