This is one of George's "integrated commercials", seen at the end of several 1953 episodes of "THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN" (sponsored by Kellogg's; they were "pushing" Sugar Smacks on the show that season). National/DC Comics insisted that "Superman" not directly endorse the sponsor's products in these ads; this is why "Clark Kent" appears instead.
Oh my! How cool! i remember watching the serial on TvLand growing up, and i never saw any commercials of them "in character". So glad I subscribed! So many jewels!
@itshammer The official police ruling in 1959 was suicide. It's believed by many that he was actually shot and killed by Leonore Lemmon during a drunken argument. He was backing out on her marriage plans. They were seen arguing that night at Scandia Restaurant, Paul's Steak House and at George's house about getting married. Police were not called for about forty-five minutes after Reeves' death. She was infamous in New York as the only woman ever kicked out of the Stork Club for fist fighting.
