I think it is a good idea. They need to put razor wire and electrify it. Make it so that they cant dig under it. You do that by making the trench extremely deep and fortified.

And do any of these bigots against people wanting a better life not realise half of all current undocumented immigrants come here legally, and then overstay their visa? So a fence only stops half of the flow. And it would bankrupt this country to deport all undocumented immigrants.

According to the CBO by 2014 Government spending will consume 90% of GDP.

That means, for every dollar that you will make, the government will spend .90c of it thru debt spending.

The country is already bankrupt.

And the deficit level has been higher in the past, so we're not at a level we haven't been at. Yes, it has to be lowered.

The "higher deficit level" you cite is still part of the debt today on top of all the other defict spending that has occured. The world is already flooded with US treasury bonds, how in the world could you expect central banks to take on even more ?

The US govt. has no choice but increase taxes. You can expect your income to shrink, your bills to increase and your savings to dwindle.

Actually, he literally suggests using something he normally used on livestock.

If you asked for water and I said you could use my horse trough, would you drink from there? you might say, "hey that's for horses!"

Of all of the fences along many borders in the world, NONE OF THEM HAVE ELECTRIC CURRENTS. Israel/Palestine, Malta, Iraq, East Germany, none of these barriers were electrified. It is commonly understood that human beings deserve at the least, better care than animals.
