Although I do think we've got all of them covered by now (having said this, GL will eventually bite me in the butt for it later). Too bad there's so little of them in GL. I remember shooting all around in Thunder Force IV to find hidden power-ups.
It's generous on difficulty as a whole, I should say. However, I've yet to play GL on Hard mode (I just finished it with 2 lives to spair on Normal) but I saw that enemy bullets go extremely fast on Hard.
I discovered it just today: Just after the narrow passage in the cellular wall at around the 3:30 time mark, shoot directly upwards to find a hidden Twin Shot power-up.
Yes, it's not very useful (you're even firing a Twin Shot at that moment), but as you said yourself, if I happened to know more secrets, I should let you know (plus, 1000 extra points ;)).

Yes you were right. I think maybe an extra life would have been more appropriate a this place. Even if the game is kind of generous on extra lives.
