  • I like their sound..and the conductor really gets into it

  • I really like it. I don't understand how can anyone say it's bad... If anyone can do it better there's a button called "post a video response". It's free to answer with a better performance....

  • @csmester83 I cant do it better and thats why im not posting it. Thats in nice, but sometimes not very clear, but its ok.

  • li-On?? weird.. bass cant really be heard sry abit louder is btr though

  • starts out somewhat promising and loses sentiment--back to the drawing board for you dudes and dudettes--noble try, but no cigar -:(; 'owever, I'll give the artista conductor a high grade for body language to bring the sound out these prepubescent chilins

  • I think they're french... or german... most likely french. That's what is sounds like when they say "Lion" but good none the less!

  • Croats.

  • really?

  • Yes. If you click on "more info" you'll see all the information about the song and the performers.

  • huh... don't you agree that they sound sort of french though?

  • No, everything is OK. Everyone of our sound experiences in their own way. We try to interpret each song in the way we experience the text.

At first, we correctly set the song harmonic. Every nation has its own language and their character, so that our singing in other languages can cause confusion. However, we still try to get on to all nations.

    Best Regards from Croatia.

  • katastrofa =oD =oD funny ... o my god... my ear! =oD

  • Nakonec to bylo i těch, které toto je katastrofa

  • loved it

  • hilarious:D

  • uhh not quite good buut great

  • Hikari - "A wima we, the lion in the jungle" - yeah, right, that's America right there.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • badass

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like it :) ...have a look at the women in front of them - so funny :D

  • There is sebastien chabal ! On the left xD

  • Non, il ne l'est pas. Cette congrégation est de la Croatie et il ne chante pas Sébastien Chabal.

  • best so far

  • what a beauty choir! salute!

  • Wow. Class Act. Thanks for posting!!

  • nice

  • such a solid choir, excellent

  • we have to sing this song in my chours class 2 !!

  • This choir director is just having too much fun!

And the fun just shows in these performers!

  • i like this song, idk why. its cool homes.

  • That was pretty good.... the only version I could find that was available and fun to watch :)

  • oh well done (note sarcasm)

  • Great choral director: her performance is worth the price of admission...

  • nice

  • In the jungle, the mighty jungle where the lion sleeps tonight. The lion farted the world restarted thats how the dinosaurs died.

  • rofl, nice

  • brilliant XD

  • i shall write that one down

  • Id like to hear you Americans speak Croatian!

You cant even speak Italian without an accent, and i never met an American that can fluently speak any other language than English.

  • wow its ok man they doing something

    its not easy

    try it you ll see

  • I agree kingzomusic!

  • Shame on those of you who are being hateful with your remarks. Was this a GREAT performance...not really but you know, it was nice. These are our Croatian brothers and sisters and we should at least find something positive to say rather than give the impression that Americans are rude.

  • Nice

  • it weeeeee a we umbum ba wei.then a winga wup,a winga-wup etc.god u guys need to learn the real lyrics instead of singing it how it sounds.

  • Hi ignorant human. This is how the song originally sounded. Thanks for noticing and having..ya know...knowledge.

  • lol irs awesome to hear that accent

  • humm It's terrible!!!!Gosh, the conductor is dancing..!!!!!!!!! hahahahaha

  • and u made a horrible comment?

    "hahahahaha"

  • Hmm, they're missing a certain something...oh yes...a decent bass section...

  • then y dont u fill in for them...

  • is this sung in Moll? This sounds somthing differend.

  • not bad.. i see a dancing conductor.. hehe

  • Not bad, but not nearly as good as the lighthouse guys.

Although its tough to compare a quartet with a full choir.

  • Better than the lighthouse guys that have a version posted on youtube.

  • I. love. it. :)

  • ok....

  • This reminds me of my own time in a Slovene chorus. It's very good, thank you for sharing it!

  • i love it:D thanks for the vid :d good luck on more videos ^^

  • Why not! But you must show your work, ant then will be your statement correct.

  • A commendable effort that just about does justice to a great song.

TTTTThe Tokens version is much better.

  • alright singing. strange director. she danced. not so good video

  • It is a originally african folk song. This version was the "Top Number One" in the "Billboard Hot 100" of 1961.

  • Good conductress and singers! A very lively performance!

  • Good one. Not many songs written by a black South African in the 1930s get performed by Croatian choirs. There's always something about the falsetto with the yodel that sends shivers down the spine.

  • lol, i thought the guy in the bank with that part was kinda creepy to be honest too

  • that man wearing the white shirt has a very high voice!!!

  • its falseto not high, then again i would be high if he could do that in falseto...

  • oh...was it in falsetto....

    sorry....

even though I can't do it that yet...cuz my voice hasn't matured yet....oh well.....

I hope we can sing this piece in our choir...

    thanks for the reply anyways...

  • =) np

  • sorry...

    what does "np" mean?....

I'm kinda short when it comes to netspeak..haha

  • no problem, im on the internet to much so...

  • well okay..

    thnx again anyway....

  • I loved it! Who did the arrangement?

  • Carsten Gerlitz is arrange this song.

  • Amazing Perfomance

  • I think it was one of the best performances of this song that I ever heard. Congratulations! Very well done!

  • i wanna add that i did add this one as favorite and i realy enjoy and like it. its very nice ones. and the ones who sings the "intro" with "weee....." is realy good. he should do more then "only accapella". thx many for upload. waiting for more stuff from you. thx Swansi

  • Hhx for comment. If you click on "Subscribe" button, you will be inform of our new upload.

    Salute, Vinko.

  • This is truly lovely, thank you. And I'll take the jumping girl any time, she's great

  • ljudi svaka cast

    Thanks for compliment.

  • english isnt her native language or ?

  • No, it isnt. We sing on "croatian english". Salute from Croatia.

  • XCELLENT ! WELL DONE !~

  • the jumping girl in the right cracks me up XD XD

  • Oh, Come on! You can do better? Lighten up and enjoy it as much as they do!

  • get over yourself

  • Great!

  • Great job, the solo falsetto should use a little less of a head voice, it was slightly out of tune, great all over.

  • amazing job guys youre great!!

  • nice

  • whoaaaaa!! good one!

  • ummmm..

  • its an easy song. you shouldnt need scores. and your tenors or altos needed to sing louder. more peanut butter if u will. but other than that.. good.

  • The director liked it, too! :)

  • Yes, tempo, perhaps. But, this has some some nice energy to it. Very nice.

  • hahah!! GREATTT!!

  • Fabulous! But if the solo cuts instead of the choir either soprano or tenor sings, it will be better. Anyway~ Good job!

  • lov this song

  • I would prefer it if they had kept to the slower tempo.

  • wow thats good :)

  • I love to listen this music, and here another great version, congratulations from Brazil and keep your art.

  • great stuff! thumbs up!!!

  • Great!! Our choir was going to sing this for school graduation day, and.. well its not sounding pretty good yet. THUMBS UP~

  • nice :)

  • Africans are often exhuberant and expressive with song AND dance. Vinka was as natural as the moment called for! Colorful! Wonderful! Again, thanks for the verses. ^_^

  • i was on the Canadian's Men's Olympic Basketball Team Statisician we would sing this song ever time. but i must say it is cute wish i new who sang that song it is great.

  • i forgot to mention this that we would be focused on the game when we played israel argentina as we all would sing this song it help us to relax.

  • Hell they do!!

  • why not - as long as it is music what they are doing... keep on grooving! and have fun! - by the way: great choir sound!

  • good directors don't dance.

  • Good directors do whatever they think is needed to get the kind of sound they want.
