@MrKrento It isn't. If you bothered to read the animals included and the explanation underneath, alongside the fact that despite our belief humans are all that matters we are but a blip on the planet you might understand.

@Loreleila I understand all that, problem is when you think of anthem you think of something that uplifts you and makes you proud to be apart of that respective group. For example when i listen to the Australian anthem I am so proud to be an Australian because it reminds me of my great home. This song just exists, it doesn't move me or make me proud to be apart of this planet

Great Earth Anthem well done. My friends and I made one too in 2009. When we were thinking of ideas we thought of just having a melody that everyone in the world could hum along too. I love the angle you have gone for using nature as a universal language. Beautiful!

It was magic. I decided to let the planet spin a little before this one ;)

Replying to comments is something I always do. If we stand at the top of the food chain perhaps it might be wise to treat the planet and all it's inhabitants with some care, rather than behaving like a plague of locusts and decimating our own home and food store. It's not our planet. We may be arrogant enough to imagine it is, but in the great scheme of things we've been here for the blink of an eye, and if we aren't careful nature will wipe us oyut with another blink.

I assume you heard the baby throughout? That is human of couse. This seems to have pressed a button in you somehow, but not to worry, we're all entitled to be here, and have an opinion. How would you have done it then? Would you have had human voices? Singing? Shouting? Talking? Would you have included animals or are they of no consequence as far as you're concerned? Would you include Earth sounds as I did or does the planet itself pale into insignificance next to humans for you?

I think the lack of human voices is appropriate and adds rather than takes away (although a babies cry sounds the same in all languages and might be a nice addition)

Yes, someone else suggested the sound of children. Either that or babies would work. It's adults who so often make a mess of things. Mind you, voices in harmony sound pretty good.

Your Earth Anthem is so amazing. The beauty of the earth is so amazing. Maybe not only the environmental problems could be resolved. But also the realtionships between humans. If the earth is such a amazing place, why do we loose ourself in our little troubles.

Thanks. Ironically I've just got Sony Vegas but had inadvertantly muted the visuals and couldn't work out how to get them back, so rather than throwing the computer out of the window (tempting) this was made with Windows Movie Maker. lol

Heh! I just had the same thing happen in Win Movie Maker. You can click on audio down where the "timeline" view is and get a line that does *something* to the audio, which I've seen in better video editing software. I never knew it was there until this week.
