@TheArsushka Thanks! Sometimes I think that it's a bit too "out there" but it does turn heads. When I travel I put the black fenders, bags and trunk on it. I really like it because it is so much less money than a Harley!
You have to forge a good relationship with a chromer who will do small jobs in between his usual big productions. I used an aeronautical spray-on paint remover that is methyl chloride based then took the pieces to the chromer. The methyl chloride paint remover is extremely effective and leaves a nice bare metal finish which is easily chromed. Then the usual electroplates of copper first, then nickel, then a flash chrome is done. The pieces that are chromed are not originals, they are Ebay buys.

In 2010, I put on 14,000 miles - Virginia Beach to San Francisco to Vancouver to Yellowstone. Chrome is the easiest finish to maintain: Windex and paper towels.
new HD hard bags??? i would love to do that to my 09 Boule... I am a big fan of this bike... I am thinking about painting mine solid white, maybe a little pearl... but let me know what kind of hard bags PLEASE!!!
Thanks. I just put it back to its all black mode as I have a trip to the west coast coming up. I have installed HD hard bags - a very slick fabrication, too. They just have so much room and can be locked. It takes about 2 hours to put into its balck mode and about 1 hour to all chrome.
Screamineagle88 Before he can get a chrome frame he better chrome the lower forks and wheels brake calipers upper nad lower tree, master cylinders, switch housings. ETC... Yes my 1500LC is done that way with custom paint. No chrome on the tins for me. That's a bit much IMO.
I considered doing the frame, but it's too much work for me. Maybe the swing-arm when I replace the rear tire. Back in 1980 when I got my 1980 Corvette, I went chrome-crazy and chromed everything from every steel engine piece, half-shafts, struts and drive shaft. But almost 30 years later, I don't have the urge to go all-out. But thanks for the comment! It does get a lot of looks.
GOD DAMN IT! it's HANDSOME!

There is NO such thing as too much chrome!

It is a 1500 cc engine - 90 cubic inches. Lots of low end torque with fuel injection.

Looks great! But now you have to get the frame chromed or someone will beat you to it.

Looks just like mine, but in black nice man.

Since this video, I have added a chrome tail light cover and Kuryakin chrome grips.
The nice thing is that no one else has a bike like it!
