  • Woooooaaaaahhhh That's old school alright. I used to have a few eclipse tapes, I could cry thinking about all the classic tapes that were lost when lent out and chewed to bits in crappy players. Hi to everyone who was clubbing back n those days!

  • Last tune is the b side of SMD 1

  • Nah Mate thats terrorize just a feeling on hamster records. the smd is sampled from this.

  • He's rocking nnnnnnRG come on .....would give my left ball to have tis again, i had a 2 cassette recording of this whole show, was a classic, made copies for almost every1 in our estate lol ...lost mine in a house fire.......this has got me all nostalgic ........"get a rush ,get a rush, get a rush get a rush get an e get a move ooonnnn come on"

  • god that sounds gutting, wish i could have lived this but wasnt bought into the world into 95 by then the scene had lost all of its vibes in my opinion. For me, club UK in wandsworth east london has to be my fav oldschool club. However the eclipse, shellys, the hacienda, DeJa Vu, The blue orchid........ just set the scene in England and up north for music.

IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT BRITAIN IS THE LEADER IN DANCE MUSIC (IBIZA IS CRACKING TOO BUT SHHHHH!)

  • Ahhhhhh the memories! The Eclipse, and then The Edge. Anyone remember the raves at the Tic Toc and the Mercia Sporting Club - also in Coventry? "HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE"!!!

  • i have been looking for it for ages. I did find a website that was selling Eclipse CDs made from the old tapes and it had a DJ Rap one, but i never bought it. Try googling eclipse and tapes.

  • i had a tape from here of DJ Rap on one side and Parks and Wilson on the other side, and it was the best mix ever all top tunes. Big shout to all you old ravers

  • man i had that, what a tape. would love that one again, any ideas?

  • Let me hear you Coventry!!....carl cox n grooverider owned that club...along with Sasha of course...cheerz for upload!!

  • love all them old choppy mixes , great stuff!!

  • Carl the legend Cox - Loved the Eclipse

  • The lightshow in this clip has inspired me so much. Thanks for this!

  • 2 x dennis the menace. top one nice one get sorted. anyone remember how frightened michaela strachan was on the hit man and her? "theyve all got mad staring eyes!!"

  • Yeah this was broadcast on the hitman and her in 1994 if I can remember, good memories and a great set from Carl Cox. I have the original recording on tape will encode it sometime, total energy! Does anyone have the full program?

  • yeah the bouncy floor was great..especially when on a snowball..

  • i remember thinking that was part of the trip i was on... i saw LFO there live and pased out while the laser shot out in a straight line beam up me on a purple ohm. when it reached my head i fainted, thats how intense the experiance was. i shit you not. iwas only 17, mind..it was before too many heads got into ripping us poor pill/ powder takers off ;o)

  • goood set...

  • Do ya think anyone was on EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, Rhubarb and Custards all the way baby.................

  • anyone remember how the floor used to bounce in the main room, and if you were downstairs you could see the ceiling going up and down, scared the crap out of me once, when I was off my head, thought the floor was going to cave in!!!! Many mad nights were had at the Eclipse.

  • Friend of mine heard after the place shut down that the floor could have collapsed at any time. Didnt notice it myself. Good times though ;)

  • edit-pseudo 3-flash it!

  • re: jungle tekno the tune where the mc is sayn check the beaat on the house is Pseudo 3-flash, the label mucic madness( cat no pseudo3)

  • those were the days

  • holy shit

  • bloody hell who r u solitary-give everyone a run down or wot-take a chill buddy!!

  • Does anyone even know the COMPLETE tracklisting for this set? I'm most interested in the fluffy summertime 'ardkore track played second where the MC is saying "check this out the beat is on the house".

  • i have a tape with laurant garnier onit, i dont wnt owt for it but ill dig them out and sort you a copy, im also after other eclipse tapes ive lost , anyone

  • i used to have an unlabelled tape that turned out to be carl on one side with laurent garnier on the other at amnesia house. i've got a small stash of something for anyone with a copy.

  • i know that tape. laurent garnier plays about 3 tracks of mad acid? ill have a look.

  • Many a night spent at the Eclipse! They don't make 'em like that anymore! They've only just knocked the old place down RIP :-(

  • Its Just A Feeling by Terrorize is my favorite all time hardcore track. Carl Cox kicked arse then. Jeez, got a goosebumpy then when that song dropped!

  • Did N-E-1 ever go the Amnesia House nites at the Eclipse? Ab-so-fucking-lutely chockka block in there! Mental Mental nites......

    Gr8 Memories!

    Amnesia House -Choose Life- Not!

  • i went to virtually every amnesia house party back in the day! including the ones at the sports connextion before the eclipse opened. and i got to dj at an amesia rave at the edge! i was working for the sound crew and i was the fill in dj downstairs. i got to play in the main room for half an hour because one of the dj's was late! buzzing! N.Y.E 93 i think it was...or 94...bit hazy to tell the truth! but yeah, i had the same view as carl cox on that vid! safe, eh?

  • think i was probably there that night just remember the bass being only matched by the orbit @ morley. fair few dodgy types there but that gave it an edge and the playlist was still varied at that time (apart from dj rap etc..) top buzz were my favourites, still are from that scene as they weren't afraid to play a bit of detroit techno alongside the breaks. great memories of stupid dancing and dayglo sticks. cheers.. it was all downhill from there...
