I am well surprised, nothing either against radiohead, but I'm well surprised, probably of their best, shall I claim out loud, and against all tides and marionettes?
This song's a hypnotizing one. I can listen to this, and only this, the whole day long and I never get bored. This is just the best shit you can listen to.
I don't want to offend anyone, but this track sounds a lot like "Voodoo Lounge"-era of Rolling Stones, especially with the harmonica. But of course it's bluesy & great!
The rhythm for this track is downright sassy:) It's further proof that Radiohead will always set the standard, when it comes to making high quality material.
but you can't really hear it that well, cause it's all processed. if you can get hold of the live version of Kid A they played in Berlin in 2000, you can hear the harmonica loud and clear. it's a great version of the song, quite different.
if I would be able to make an album from all their b-sides it would be better then most albums nowadays...! on the beach, i am a wicked child, meeting in the isle, follow me around, you never wash up after yourself, lozenge of love (!), true love waits, polethylene, gagging order, for (live version) and maybe The present tense ( its gonna get on their album anyways but whatever... its awesome!)
And this is why I think Radiohead is such a great band. Their b-sides are of such good quality it could compete with the actual songs on the albums. Not many bands these days could claim that distinction.

yeah i know, i think it was also Jonny who said Thom is a good person, except for his irrational Hatred for Banjos. Something to that extent, hahaha xD
This B-side kicks the arses of so many songs from the "Hail To The Theif" album. Just improve the production a little and this could have been one of the highlights, if not the best song on the album.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned before, but the lyrics are incorrect for this version of the song. He never sings "Lying on my bed" or "Surely it is time", at the ned bit he simply sings "Send baby Jesus, to radiate his light, to radiate his light".
On a more pedantic note he sings "for" as opposed to "cause" (first verse), and never sings "for you" (second verse).
No, whydontyouremember, the song you are referring to is a Meat Puppet's song. And just because a song is in the same key doesn't mean it sounds like another song. Stop making musical references that don't make sense.
This is a great song. Me and a few of my friends did a sort of remix of the song. Same riff, but sped up and our own things added. If you want to see it just type "Epic Good Jamming Session" Its the first result
Um, it was a long time ago. I work with a guy who uses "News Leecher" He downloaded it from there. If u want send me a friend request and I might be able to send you the whole thing, & I would like to correct myself, the name of it is called quote, "Fucking Rarities." It is awesome. "B-Sides and Rarities" is the name of a Deftones compilation that I have, It has them covering "Simple Man" by Skynard. Totally pisses on Shinedown. They also cover "No Ordinary Love" by Sade' It is incredible.
