Everybody is scared of something. Some people are afraid of monster movies. Some are scared of doll movies. Some hell-oriented, some paranormal ghost movies. some slasher. some are afraid of the dark. Some fear spanish horror, others Asian. None of that shit scares me at all except for some asian horror movies. But insidious is a great horror movie and it scared me a bit. But its better than alot of other recent horror, especially better than paranormal activity which is shit!

Its basically the same type of horror film as 'poltergeist' , in fact its VERY similar in its story to poltergeist too , but poltergeist is better IMO.

I saw this movie last week. I don't usually get scared by horror movies, and this one wasn't any different. While it didn't scare me, I do agree with you in some ways. It actually had a good and interesting plot and I liked the music a lot. The end just got a little too out there for me, and I found myself laughing at everything lol.

Just got the movie on Redbox. It honestly wasn't very good (in my opinion). The only part that really scared me was when the red face appeared behind Josh, but then I immediately started cracking up because I realized the ghost was Darth Maul.

I don't understand how people think the scene where the mother runs up into the babies room and they see that face looking in the crib. I honestly don't see how that was scary compared to the other scary scenes in the movie. In my opinion the most terrifying scenes for me was when the demon was behind the fathers head and when the old woman had her picture taken

Totally agree with you, this movie scared the shit out of me. I watch Paranormal activity 1 & 2 back to back and wasn't fazed. Insidious however was relentless with creepiness. Its the spookiest and scariest film I've seen since The Shining. Great review Brah

I was watching this yesterday on my laptop with my headphones on, and my dad and brother were sitting on the couch watching baseball. OMG. I must have jumped and screamed 20 times, not even joking. I was scared shitless. They kept looking at me from the couch like "wtf???" and I was just like "you gotta watch this movie...".
