I agree with Shay that suicide is, at its core, a selfish, cowardly act. But you also have to think about the fact that in order for someone to commit suicide, there is an actual chemical imbalance in the brain. The brain has to overcome its usual objective of self preservation in order to allow a person to actually go through with suicide. I was depressed for two years, and I thankfully never resorted to trying suicide, but I pray for those who do, and ultimately I have to have pity for them.

my dad's family couldn't care less about me. when i overdosed on my grandpa's pills, they didn't care if i was dying or not. what led up to this? idk, what they did after this as well as before: set me up like i was dirt then abused the heck outta me. why can't i feel physical pain to this day? i can feel it but not as painful anymore. PS: dad, i'm not a whore, i will never be, and i will be much better than that. God saved me and mom let me get closer to my heavenly Father.

Shay, I think the suicide thing is the one point I disagree with you a little on. Yes, it is a selfish act, but the people who choose to do that generally feel they are not important enough for people to actually care. (Even when they do.) I think we need to sympathize for these people, especially because in reality, their depression is caused by things out of their control. I love the shaytards, I love the videos. But I jsut wanted to get my point across. :) Keep up the good work, Shay.
