These clips where from an Canon XL1...I do think the up-scale depends on the footage - I tried it on some other footage and the quality wasn't as good as this...but still very impressive!
I have to agree...nothing is better than the source - upscale can never match raw HD footage but this software does a great job of getting close! Cheers for your comment!

this may be in HD but its not true HD. its close, i used to try and make nice crisp HD video from SD but it never worked how i wanted it.
