1991 Volkswagen Vanagon - oil pressure gauge installation

Really cool video. I'm definitely keeping this one bookmarked for that eventual day when I have a Vanagon in my driveway since one of the first things for it will be an OP gauge.

also..thats very strange that your vanagon didn't come with a tach. I thought they all did after 86..

@Kbrusky15 Impossible to tell what RPM the sensor went off, at this point. The tach was pretty standard after '86 (possibly earlier?), but in 1990 Volkswagen introduced the base model Vanagon to the US, which was a trim level BELOW the Vanagon GL. I have the flat metal dash instead of the padded dash, rubber floors instead of carpet, tweed upholstery instead of velour, no armrests on the front seats, and an analog clock instead of tachometer.

OH jeeze thats right I remember looking through the vanagon brochures on thesamba and one of the later years had the base model as a trim option, I was kind of wondering that about your vanagon also because of your wheels and your bumpers not being the big fiberglass type.

did the buzzer go off under like 2300 rpm? that happened to my Vanagon... it was just the sensor
