I find all of the L'orgue Mystique to be cosmic. The music is very intimate. It reaches inside in a beautiful way. I have heard many renditions. Some organists play it very well, but in a technical sense. Others, such as you, seem to move INTO the music, and it's a beautiful dance. Thank you for sharing your way of feeling this music...
Nothing beats Tournemire on an exquisite French organ in one of those great French stone rooms !! Perfect combination of music, instrument & acoustics.

There's something about Tournemire's music that really does seem to belong to another time - it seems almost to reach towards eternity.
A beautiful, spiritual piece and a very musical performance that shows you really understand what the composer intended.
Have you tried the Choral Alléluiatique no. 2 (17th Sunday after Pentecost) - another fabulous piece from the collection?

Thank you for the kind comment. Yes I play many others including the 17th Sunday. Listen to much more on a new CD Herald 361.
