Ive seen a Lynx do a loop the loop at Cardiff Bay air show. It was insane! As far as I'm aware the Lynx is the only military chopper that can do a loop the loop?

but coz i just had hayfever which was sneezing xD thats it i failed aircrew but i didnt care coz i passed ground crew :D

Years ago I was working in Pembrook not far away from an Army training ground, and we used to sit and eat brekfast watching a lynx display every day. An impressive aircraft

Incredible helos. Do the AAC or Fleet Air Arm still operate the Lynx Ah7 TOW? Or has it been scrapped - will there be a land attack Future Lynx?

both the army and the navy still use them. my Dad used to work in the Lynx IPT and was responcible for all the Lynxs in the army.

@EpixBawokLoL Chinook's still faster anyway! Way faster, Apaches & Lynxs can't keep up with it in Afghanistan. Lynx was the fastest single rotor helicopter

@Redheadfury The Lynx is the fastest production helicopter ever made, at almsot 250mph thats verbatum. The lynx does have trouble in very hot climates (like in the summer in afhganistan but its not widley used there) The chinook is much faster then the apache yes, but its not speed is still under 200mph

i love that chopper, almost every week i see a british lynx or a german naval lynx when they´re flying by over my city.

That sound of that chopper is so wonderful

The Lynx is a pretty cool Helicopter, it smaller then the our Black Hawk, but the almost sound the same with just a hint of Hughes 500. All and all its a good looking, tough helo. awsome!

Man I had this video 20years ago "In The Cockpit" video series. Best is when they fly it high speed backwards plus that rotar has a nice sound

In real life it sounds way different though, you will hear the engine whine when it's approaching then the rotors when it passes it's a very quiet helo

It can be equipped with 20mm chainguns, rocket pods, Tow and hellfire anti tank missles and the navy version can also be equipped with torpedos and depth charges.
